Of all the gyms in Auburn/ Opelika, this is my favorite. It has all the equipment and classes I need and their machines are very modern/ up-to-date. The temperature is always nice and the music makes my workout much more enjoyable. The trainers who set up my workout were able to pinpoint my problems and expertly inform me on how to fix them through exercise. My favorite part is that the gym is rarely crowded. Oh, and lets not forget the complimentary fruit! The gym COULD be a little nicer, but for what I get out of it, I'd take it over a Golds gym any day.
I was a long time patient of Dr. Larson, and loved him. He was personable and seemed to genuinely care. After he passed the entire crew changed, and one one particular visit, which I made my last I was made to wait an hour and a half past my appointment time. When I confronted the woman at the desk I informed her that was there because I have severe anxiety and being surrounded by sick, coughing, immigrants, (clientele had obviously changed)wasn't making it any better so I needed to either go back now or get my copay back. When she left her desk to speak with the n.p. I noticed that my, along with everyone else in the offices lobby was left out for ANYONE to see. When I say information I am speaking of copies of drivers license and social security cards. I confronted the lady and n.p. about this and they didn't see any harm in it. I scolded each for a moment and instead of apologizing the desk attendant actually started crying and asked me "why are you doing this to me?" They couldn't figure out how to refund my copay so I told them to keep it but I will never step foot in there again. The worst possible experience I've ever had at a medical facility and I'm a veteran that goes to the Tuskegee VA from time to time, so, yea. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
Overall level of care was fine but I had to wait 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I didn't figure out something was wrong until they took three people ahead of me that had come in after me. Apparently their computers were down and the nurse didn't realize I was a patient. She thought I was waiting on someone. Very poor coordination between the administrator behind the desk lining up patience and the nurse.
Rude when answering the phone and rude when given service. Things haven't changed.
They charged me for four months I didn't go be use my card number had changed. Since I was on a month to month I stopped going when I re upped months later they hit my card a week later for all of the previous months saying my contract stated I owed them. They had told me on the phone I would only be charged per month starting January. When I called they refused to do anything and said they'd debate the charges with my bank and this is what they always have done. You are on.y a number there. All they care about is your money.
