The rumors being spread about this market are false. I am a permanent customer here and I know that they sell fresh halaal meat. If you go to the market, ask to see the receipts for the meat that is being sold; the owner is willing to show you that it is halaal meat that he is selling. The resturant portion, food is amazing and delicious, i.e. afghan made kabob, rice and qorma, karahi and many more. ... The Afghan bread is the best bread I ever tested in Albuquerque.

We LOVE Trader Joe's - with the best produce in town, great selection of healthy foods, great selection of frozen meals and wonderful sweets and chocolates. Our favorites include - frozen: Teriyaki Chicken, Asian Chicken, tilapia filets, soy ice cream; produce: persimmons, baby watermelon; sweets: apricot almond torte, chocolate almond clusters and Lacy's macadamia cookies. The quick in-and-out is another plus for busy people like me.
This grocery store is convenient, it is well stocked but the service needs improvement. We were there at 9PM and there were NO clerks to check people out...they were functioning with only the "do-it-yourself" stations. There were several customers waiting for the self-serve stations. The store was clean and well lit but clerks were hard to find in the store when we needed assistance.
I shop weekly at the Sunflower Market in Nob Hill because its close to where I live. Their prices are very competitive and the staff is really nice and very helpful. They will give you a sample of most any food if you ask for it. I would like to see more organic veggies in the store, but they are pretty good. No complaints from me!
This is easily the best grocery and specialty store in ABQ. Obviously Burque hasn'tfigured it out yet, since they named Trader Joes amongst the best of Albuquerque. Apparently ABQ cares more about saving a buck than they care about what they put into their bodies!! WE LOVE YOU WHOLE FOODS!
The store is clean and well stocked. The store stocks a nice supply of choices for vegetarians. The dairy case is well lit and the fruits and vegetables are well displayed. Prices are competitive and the staff is friendly.
Good meats. Clean store. Stocked well most of the time. They need to do better stocking milk. Many times I have gone and no milk. Workers friendly. Friendliness when giving cashiers coupons and cloth bags for bagging.
This store has good lighting, many choices for all items. Prices are good. I have experienced long lines with few clerks on several occasions. It's a store I visit often because of the convenient location.
The Neighborhood Market is a refreshing "change" from the big, impersonal Walmart SuperCenters. The aisles are wide and the store is immaculate. (For now...but then, it's still new. )
I have to say, I didn't expect to eat breakfast in a Mexican Taco restaurant. But it was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was awesome and I look forward to eating there again!
