This post office it the worst one in the state, they only hire the most incompetent, lazy , dumb people around. Just about every package I am waiting to get gets "lost" or the idiot post man forgets to deliver it so what ever excuse he puts down. Then I have to go pick it up and deal with the less then friendly staff. This place needs to fire everyone and start fresh. Its bull we are so unconvinced because stupid peopke can't do there jobs. I hate you mail man if you read this please quit. Ps Christmas was a absolute nightmare because of these people. I'm thinking about moving just so I don't have to deal with this place.
I ordered a package from Amazon. I am an Amazon Prime customer, and the package was due to be delivered on a Sunday, which is in accordance with a special contract Amazon has with the USPS. The "Hub" for this type of delivery to Jacksonville Beach, Florida was Atlantic Beach, Florida (literally down the block) The Driver claimed he could not get access to my address, thus no delivery on the day it was scheduled, and would is supposed to be delivered by our regular Carrier on Monday. If the USPS wants to increase their Parcel Post type of deliveries, they need to have more reliable drivers, or ones that don't lie.
I have had 3 shipments sent with delays from this facility. The first one was going from Atlantic Beach to Orange Park. I didn't pay for tracking on this order & it took 1 week & 2 days before the customer got my package. The 2nd shipment was last week on 3/2/15 (which now I'm paying extra so I can track the order). It showed leaving the Atlantic Beach facility on 3/2 but didn't arrive at the sorting facility til 3/4/15. So why did it take 2 days to get to the sorting facility????? No reason it should take 2 days. So this customer was in Jacksonville, FL. You would think someone living in Jacksonville would get their mail the next day. No she didn't get her order til 3/5/15. Then the last shipment was sent on 3/5/15 also had to pay extra for tracking & it was also going to someone in Jacksonville, which they should have received the next day but PO said should receive on 3/7/15 which was this past Saturday. Customer still hasn't received & when I tracked it no more information available after it left the PO in Atlantic Beach on 3/5/15. This is totally unacceptable!!!! You can get anyone to talk to at the 800 #. Spoke to the mgr. she couldn't offer an explanation. Said she would look into it. Unbelieveable that you have to pay extra for tracking & still don't get good delivery service.
