THEY USE THIS FOR PROFIT AS A BUSINESS ,THE AG SHOULD CHECK INTO THIS. THEY GET HUGE DONATIONS THEY DONT WRITE INTO BOOKS AND COOK THE BOOKS

We have been to Elk country animal shelter numerous times.We adopted about 6 years ago and have been back numerous times for visits. I've always found the facility well-maintained and the staff very experienced. Pauline, the facility manager, is one of the most sincere animal lovers and sweetest ladies I've ever met!!!

Don't even bother with going here. Pauline Hancock KILLED a dog I was trying to save that was starving/freezing and I wanted to adopt him and TOLD her I wanted to adopt. I called police who took him here. Then SHE took over and had him KILLED. She also has CONSTANT, so called "fundraisers" but WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO??? People in town say, IN HER POCKET! She cannot be trusted and is a nothing but a rude and nasty person to deal with. Don't waste your time with crap like her. People her want her GONE and so do I.
