Before you satisfy your desire to look inside the human body let me warn you before your neurons process this review any further: it's going to be expensive. The $24 adult admission price for this exhibit is way too high, especially given the fact that the bodies on display were probably stolen and are being completely exploited since they're being used to pump profits into the blood-sucking profiteers who run this attraction. If you do decide to spend your life's fortune to go here, though at least make sure you come early since even though they weren't "trying to rush" us they made it very clear that the exhibit was closing at 4:00 and then reminded us again that it was closing in one minute at 3:59. There were hardly any patrons on the Wednesday June afternoon we went, though at least so there were definitely more dead than living beings here. You begin your journey by viewing a human skull and then venture towards seeing the different systems of the human body such as the skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, circulatory system, digestive system, and reproductive system. One of the coolest things is being able to see all of the arteries in your body and the nerves that make up what's allowing you to comprehend this right now, however, unless you're very much interested in anatomy one visit here will be enough. Also, while there are some full bodies on display the majority of the displays are just individual body parts but are still interesting nonetheless. The first time I went here I had a better appreciation for my body but the second time I came here with someone else I felt pretty ripped off and like the exhibit was way too short for the pricey tickets to see interesting albeit most likely stolen carcasses.

If you are thinking of using them for distribution, look up what they did to Clown Shoes Beer and see if you still want to do business with them. Holding someone's brand hostage after dropping beer distribution and then refusing to transfer the rights to another distributor unless you get paid big bucks is sleezy, dishonest, and indefensible. The people of Georgia deserve better. -Update: based on the backlash they did finally resolve things with Clown Shoes and let another distributor have the rights in GA. Still not acceptable how they let it get to this point, but raised from 1 to 2 stars for resolving the issue.
One of the hottest spots in Old Fourth Ward/Inman Park on weekend evenings. A lot of groups come here before they go out on the weekends to start their night. Hop City has an extensive beer selection - they have a big list of both local beers (they mark them so you know), as well as beers from around the world. Quick, efficient staff that keeps long lines moving so you never have to wait too long, even when it's packed. If you grab a beer from Hop City, you're able to walk around Krog Street Market with it if you're waiting for a table at a restaurant.
my entire staff bought me a gift certificate to this place. when i tried to use the certificate for a 6 pack; they denied it. they stated that i had to use the whole amount in a single visit. this is NOT a good way to do business people ! this alienates me as a new customer. this alienates my staff members as customers as well as our friends and business contacts. In this day and age of social media, make your business more sensible and allow the use of gift certificates as any other business would...as cash.
Green's on Ponce is a great liquor store. Not only do they have a wonderful beer selection (though their wine choices are a bit lacking) they also have most liquors you could want, mixers, cigarettes, and other last-minute drinking needs. The best part about Greens is the crowd. This place is truly democratic--everybody likes to drink! So you see businessmen and soccer moms in line with college kids and welfare moms. Plus they play the tv so you have something to do while waiting in line. A great store!
Tower has a decent liquor selection and I don't know much about the wine selection but the beer selection blows me away. They have just about everything you could ask for here. Mainstream brews, Microbrews and one-off craft brews from around the US and around the world. If you can't find it here, you might not be able to find it anywhere and they'll even order your beer if they don't have it. The great beer section is what keeps me coming back to Tower.
A small mom and pop store that endeavors to be the best that they can be. You will not find a more friendly place to buy alcohol...period. This is a relatively small neighborhood liquor store. But it has great selection for its size. More important it has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This is a store that I want to visit because of the people that work here. And it helps that it is about a mile from my house.
This is one of my favorite additions to the Kirkwood neighborhood district. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. You can't beat the rotating selection of small batch wines. Weekly wine tastings to try before you buy make this a great place to try wines you won't see in big box and local liquor stores. I often find myself walking out with a box of wine and love that they can't be purchased anywhere nearby.
After a renovation completed in the last year or so, Tower now has one of the best beer selections in Atlanta. If I'm looking for something unique or hard to find this is the first place I try and I usually find it. Their liquor selection is top notch and I'm no vinophile but they're wine selection seems to be just as plentiful.
Green's is right on my way home from work and they are very convenient to the I-85/Cheshire Bridge/Lenox Road area. They've got a good beer selection with a wide variety of craft brews, an excellent wine section with recommendations and your typical liquor selection. Bring cash because it's cheaper if you don't use credit!
