after leaving from a dreadful experience of time management, the server shows up on my job really loud, threatening to call the police telling my boss, co-workers and students (i am a educator) that my co worker and I left without paying, When my boss called us to the front where we proved to be right, The server claimed he FORGOT we paid by cash. Never did he apologize after putting my character, integrity, respect and job in jeopardy by publicly defaming and slandering myself and my coworker. HORRIBLE BUSINESS CONDUCT and PERSONAL CONDUCT.

The only reason that I rated this fabulous restaurant as 4 stars for both atmosphere and food is so that I can convey how wonderful server Lexi was! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. She was also just pleasant as a person to be around. If I ever have to recommend a restaurant to someone visiting Atlanta, I will recommend Alma, especially if Lexi is waitressing!
Not expensive and the food and drinks are really good. Very good location by the Beltline. Pet friendly.

This spot has some good Tex-Mex selections and drink selections, and lots of HD TV's will make this a favorite spot for watching sports games. They also have many events although I haven't participated in any of them yet.I usually get the Fish Tacos and fried pickles which are always outstanding....I mostly drink beer so I don't have any experience with the different drinks they offer, but they have a good selection especially for margaritas. The Fajitas are also another winner here if you're a fajita lover like myself. It's always a plus to see cute girls in the staff, and Twisted Taco does a pretty good job here.
First. The restaurant is now called Mama's. they have almost The same menu items but more expensive. The items we came for are not available. The food taste and service is ok. The enchiladas were acidic, like the sauce is old. The cleanliness is subpar, mainly in the bathroom and the ice tastes salty.
What a disappointment! The service by Juliana was horrific! Empty drinks, slow food and the manager was no better
Can't believe it took me so long to eat here. It's delicious! I highly recommend the abuela salad (shredded chard, chayote, onion, radish, Apple, queso fresco, avocado with a cilantro dressing), empanada with mustard and creamy adobo sauce, and the chicken a la Veracruzana. So good!

Five stars for the food is a must here. When you are in the mood for really unhealthy, authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. Pretty inexpensive for a ton of food and everyone there is pretty nice. I've only ever picked up and taken home to eat but they've never gotten an order of mine wrong. I usually go for the #12 which includes a chalupa, taco and enchilada. I've tried the chicken, but the ground beef is by far the better choice. The queso is always spot on. My coworkers and I look forward to ordering here at least once a month. Would recommend for any girls night or a meal you want to take home to eat in front of the tv. Delicious.
