Really thankful to Vlad for taking such great care of my shoes and boots! I brought in an expensive pair of flats that needed brand new soles. He not only replaced the leather sole and added a rubber portion (for longer wear), but also distressed them to match the shoes' vintage feel. Way to go above and beyond! I will be back!
I paid way more than I should've to have heel taps replaced on two pairs of shoes and the heels repaired, but I was in a bind. They did live up to their name and had my shoes ready on the same day, though. I think the prices were based on their Buckhead clientele.
If he can't fix it, it can't be fixed! We've come to Ansley Shoe and Luggage Repair several times and he gives a quick and honest assessment of the issue. We've probably walked out with our broken shoes or bags as often as we have left them for fixing but I appreciate that he doesn't try to fix it knowing it will just break again. The prices aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Roswell Wieuca Shoe Repair is a hidden gem in the Buckhead/Chastain neighborhoods of Atlanta. Major and minor repairs are completed in an excellent and timely manner. Great service and reasonable prices.
I had several pairs of heels fixed here last year. They were fast and no nonsense. The repairs have held up fairly well. I would have paid more if they had polished the shoes while they were at it.
Trio Shoe ServiceBuckhead Commons, 3145 Peachtree Rd # 117, Atlanta, GA 30305This place is THE WORST! I had a pair of shoes that I wasn't ready to get rid of which had scuff marks on them. I googled shoe repair places to get them buffed out/repaired and Trio Shoe Service was one of the places that displayed. Another place also displayed called Santana creative located at 3535 Peachtree Rd Ne, ste 510 Atlanta, Ga 30326. Since Santana's was a little bit more expensive, I chose to take them to Trio. The experience taking my shoes there wasn't that bad. The guy who accepted my shoes was actually really nice. It was when I called to see if my shoes were ready, is where the problem came in. When I first brought my shoes in, the guy told me that my shoes MIGHT be ready within three or four days. He handed me a receipt that said "WE WILL CALL YOU WHEN THIS ITEM IS READY". Due to my busy work schedule, time got away from me. A week and a half, almost two weeks went by and no hear from Trio. I then called to explain that I dropped my shoes off however never heard back from anyone. The lady who answered the phone was sooo rude to me. She stated, "Ma'am we do not do call backs!" with MAJOR attitude and I then said, " Well ma'am how am I to know when my shoes are ready?" her response was, "We can't possibly call every customer back. We are too busy, but anyway your shoes are ready so come and get them." I WILL NEVER GO back to this God awful place AGAIN. Talk about customer service.. This place has no idea what it means. If you want your money's worth go to Santana Creative. It is a much better atmosphere and their customer service is SUPERB!
They probably can handle the simplest of heel replacements. But I would think carefully before bringing any shoes that I loved here. I went in to have a sole replacement, not a major request for a shoe repair shop. But my boots came back looking amateurish. The nice contrast stitch was uneven and jagged, instead of smooth and clean. They sewed through the soles, which is not how the boot was constructed. And they left perforations around the toe from where they failed and failed again to repair the shoe properly. I paid $60 to have my handmade boots ruined. To top it all off, it took 3 months for me to get a call that my shoes were finally ready. Add in several trips to check on my shoes, and the owners many assurances that they would be right when I returned. You’d think after this torture, they’d at least shine the boots up for free! If I were you, I’d find another shoe repair shop.
If I had a child I would trust Classic shoe with him/she/it. My husband would say my bags are my children. They could not have been nicer. I see why they were so highly recommended by the Luxury bag store I called. Worry free.
THEY ARE THE WORST. I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW PAIR OF CALVIN KLEIN SHOES. I TOOK IT THERE FOR THEM TO STRETCH. THEY SPLIT MY BRAND NEW PAID OF SHOES. I CALLED AND ASK TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND HE WAS OF NO HELP. HE DIDN'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. HE KEPT AVOIDING THE QUESTION I ASKED HIM. "WHAT IS HE GOING TO DO ABOUT MY SHOES". HE JUST KEEP TELLING ME TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE STORE AND HAVE THEM TO EXCHANGE THE SHOES. I PAID $80.00 FOR THOSE SHOES AND HE WOULD NOT SAY IF HE WILL PAY FOR MY SHOES OR NOT... JUST TAKE IT BACK TO THE STORE AND LIE ABOUT THE REASON IT SPLIT HE JUST KEEP SAYING. ALSO THEY DID A BAD JOB PUTTING HEELS ON TWO PAIRS OF SHOES THAT I TOOK THERE ALSO. I HAD TO HAVE HIM TAKE THE HEELS OFF AND PUT ON A BETTER ONE. THE HEEL WAS BIGGER THAN THE HEEL ON THE SHOE. MANAGER WAS VERY RUDE ABOUT IT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. I SAW THEM TRYING TO FIX A BELT FOR ANOTHER CUSTOMER AND IT TOOK 5 TRIES TO GET IT RIGHT AND YOU CAN SEE THAT THE CUSTOMER WAS NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT IT.
