STAY FAR AWAY! These guys are crooks. Brought my car here after a speed sensor malfunction code showed up, and my mechanic recommended I bring to Aamco or Certified.Friday, Aamco called to say it would be a $285 "diagnostic fee". When I hesitated to give them the go-ahead, he said that fee would go towards future charges.Monday, they say it will be over $400 to fix ON TOP OF the $285, which just told me what I already told them was wrong: speed sensor malfunction. I spent five minutes talking in circles trying to explain this was not what they told me on Friday. They refused to put the $285 fee towards the already-astronomical estimate of $400+ to fix my speed sensor issue, a job which should not cost more than a couple hundred including parts and labor. The next day I showed up to eat the $285 bullsh*t diagnostic fee and get my car the hell away from them. Guy in the office really didn't want me to go, and tried to butter me up throughout our conversation in really obvious, awkward ways. Stupid crooks think everyone else is even stupider than they are, but I saw right through him. When I called him on his crap about the part being quoted at $300, he suddenly said he found one for just $100. How convenient, and still too expensive. He pulled out every excuse as to why he couldn't put that $285 towards future work; "We're just bodies that work for corporate, I can't do it if I wanted to." "If I credit the $285 toward future work, it's like that poor mechanic who ran the codes on your car didn't even do any work." "We would never tell you that, you must have misunderstood."Just to get him to leave me alone and let me gtfo, I told him I don't want to spend that much because I'm just selling the car anyway. Then he perked up and told me to call him when I'm selling because he wants to buy it. Yeah, okay. Not in a million years, guy.My mechanic vowed to never recommend them again, so they lost this legit customer and many future customers. Stay. Far. Away.
I had my car towed to Aamco with the intentions of getting it fixed, their services were to high so I am declining them. Now they want to charge me.My car was brought in to have a diagnostic done it it, which has now turned into my transmission being pulled out of it. Now they want to charge me $950 plus to get my car back because I don't want to pay $4500 plus to repair it. I have called around to other Aamco's and have been told that this is uncommon practice as well as over pricing for the services that have been received even though I did not request the services provided. Was looking at the grass and sidewalk on North side dr at this location. Looks as if they have been dumping oil into the sewer system for years!!!! Shame!!!
Incompetent drunks is what this owner hires to work on customers vehicles. Please check the complaints on the BBB website before making the mistake of your life. So you have been warned~!!!!!

they do great work at a good price. They also are very honest people. I can take my car back with a problem and they will check it out with no problem
I took my BMW X3 to Aamco for transmission repair. Denny and Sean were awesome! They gave me a through explanation of what I needed done to my car and they were always very helpful with any of my questions or concerns, actually taking time to explain the brake down of the repair. They both gave me status updates of repair times and my car was ready the day they said it would be. I was very happy with the result. I would recommend this place for repair and I plan on returning for additional services!
They did a very good job with the transmission work. My car is running great. I must say that I was most impressed with how nice everyone was. This is a great place to bring your car.
Great work on my car. Very fortunate to have found them at short notice. Thank you for everything.
Nice work. My car has been running great since they fixed the transmission.
