Ok, so I've been trying to support black owned businesses in my community and here is my experience with AMG: Atlanta Meet The Groomers. It started almost 2 years ago, every appointment I've made I've had to wait 20-30 minutes for the owner to arrive (it's been 4 visits total)....EVERY TIME!! The owner has never been on time for my appointments, but she does excellent work so I'm trying to be patient and continue supporting her. My daughter takes her dogs and I've referred her to other doggie owners. So my new predicament, made an appointment last week for Tuesday (2 days ago), I was asked if Wednesday would be better, I said yes. I took off of work to handle this and other business, only to get a call re-scheduling my appointment because the owner is still out of town and to schedule for today. I called this morning to confirm and to notify my dog would be dropped off and I would be picking her up after work. I made arrangements to have her dropped off and guess what? NOBODY WAS THERE!! I called and was told to tell them to wait 30 more minutes.Note to business owners, if your business cannot operate when you are not there, maybe rethink owning a business. Customers needs has nothing to do with your presence, but with your services. Advise/suggestion...sign-up with a Veterinary School to see if the students who have to do externships can assist your business for hands-on credit.it's really hard supporting black owned businesses when we are expected to accept less than business-like practices. WHAT AN INCONVENIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are able to get our pet supplies here conveniently. They have a good selection and generally have good knowledge of their products.
This location is always stocked! They have great deals on supplies, food and treats. I cant say enough about the staff. My daughter once left her phone in the store and they stayed open so that we could come back and get it that night.
When they have what I am looking for, it's all good. When the item I need is out of stock (has happened more than once), it is frustrating. Glad they do regular adoption events out front.
