So I must say that looking for a moving company was a scary and daunting task I felt overwhelmed and I saw so many different reviews different ways that Movers did pricing I was just so confused I really was contemplating selling all of her possessions and just buy everything brand-new to start all over again but then when I spoke to Jimmy at Priceline Moving and Storage he reassured me and made me feel comfortable enough to and trust this company to move all her possessions from one state to another. So after numerous phone calls and discussions with him I hired these movers and I'm glad I did the company came on the sign moving day on time Sherry I uniform and clean-cut the men were very polite and worked diligently throughout the day and very carefully as well they took their time but did not work slowly by any means the packing was well done they used great materials and the truck was clean and organized the price was spot on and actually I saved about $200 less. The crew lead by Carl really stellar work and they stayed in communication for the 2 Day Dr. when you're going cross-country they delivered on the specified day and time and nothing was damaged or missing no headaches no surprises just a job well done it's very seldom these days that you see Movers or any company employees that really care what these guys prove that good old-fashioned hard work in America still exist thank you Price Line
This message is in respone to Love G. reveiw. I'm one of the owners of S&S pro movers and just want to explain the entire debacle associated with this move. Mrs Love G. called 1 day prior to scheduling the move and we explained to her that we were fully booked. We advised her that we might be late because of such short notice and she said that it would be fine. We tried to accommodate her as much as possible and fit her into the schedule. Once we arrived to her storage she had and attitudeand told me that kevin was late, and i explained to her that he was still on another job thats why i came out. She proceeded tocomplain to me that she had to be out her storage today and if we could " Make it Right " because we arrived 15 min late. I explained to her that we allready notified her that there was a possibility that we would be late. She asked me to " Cut a Deal "and i told her that we already have below market rates note Mrs love thing was to basically get us to move her for $ 85.00. A entire 2 bedroom storage. I'd just like to say that we strive to make all our customers happy, and we might not allways get it right but we do try.
We had the greatest experience ever dealing with Priceline and have already started referring them to my friends! The team arrived right on time as promised on my moving day. They were extremely efficient and careful in everything they handled and did at my house. Everything was left clean after the move-out and I did not even have to clean a thing after all activity on all 3 floors. The 3 guys were extremely patient with the heavy items and all my items arrived safe and in one piece, not a single scratch. At my new condo, the team was exceptionally careful with the shared areas and they laid out runners all over my new flooring to keep it clean and not cause a single scratch there as well. They carried items, rather than drag them, and they were courteous and respectful throughout the process. Everything was put in its spot and they were in and out in under 4 hours, even though I had a lot of stuff and a bedroom that they disassembled and reassembled, really nicely, for me. Move day was the smoothest part, to my surprise, and I would definitely use American's team for my next move!
This week I attacked one of the toughest challenges I have every had ... I moved my elderly Dad from his home of 40 years in Athens to Atlanta to be closer to us.This move was emotional and exhausting for so many reasons... but there was one part of the move which gave me no hesitation and no concern. While it was my task to go through and pare down years of memories and treasures - I knew Atlanta Furniture Taxi could be trusted to handle with care and respect those things we chose to save. And they did.We hired them for this move knowing that the moment where Dad closed the door to his home in Athens for the last time would be him saying good-bye to a huge part of his life. I used Angel Heart Movers during my move from Brooklyn, NY to Greensboro NC. I had called various moving companies and when they came to my home to give me a quote, they were outrageous. I had moved once before and the company that I had used gave me one quote but upon arrival at my new home, they tried to charge me a different amount and even attempted to hold my belongings until I paid them the difference. What a sham. I have since then been very cautious about movers, until I found Angel Heart Movers. David came to my home to do a walk through and gave me a quote, which was very reasonable. Angel heart moved me from my 2 bed room apt in Atlanta to my condo in Miami. The movers were on time & treated my belongings as if they were their own. On one occasion they found an old gold ring behind a dresser that I had lost for several months & they were honest enough to let me know. The staff were friendly and hard working. I told them to watch the walls as my furniture is very expensive & they ended up wrapping many pieces that didn't even need protection but it worked out. All of my furniture made it without being damaged & my old apt was left spotless so I didn't have to end up wasting time painting & paying damage fees. My unload was vitally important because we had to reserve the elevator at my new condo. Angel Heart Movers got there 15 minutes early & finished unloading faster thank I expected. The value was good but the service was phenomenal. I would highly recommend them & will use them in the future for sure.
Southeast Van Lines were the first company to respond to my query posted online in response to my shifting. Although some came back to me the following day, but Coleen at Southeast Van Lines was professional from the very beginning and I was quick to appoint them. Coleen arranged the packing and quote as per the approximate amount of goods we would be transporting. Tony and his crew arrived on time and completely packed up our home in a matter of hours, using all their own materials. The packing was done professionally, the cutlery was bubble packed and furniture was blanketed. They were polite, professional, careful and efficient. There were no breakages in transit and all in all it was a fantastic experience dealing with them and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Southeast Van Lines was very professional in their overall business approach; they always seem to be in control of the entire situation.
I had a wonderful experience with Angel Heart Movers. I used the company for a local move in the Atlanta area. I contracted with Angel Heart to simply move my belongings. I was going to pack them myself. David and his crew were on time for the job. Unfortunately, I had not finished packing by the time they arrived. David gave me what I thought was a great deal to finish packing my house. He and his crew finished packing pretty quickly considering there was quite a bit to be done. I was worried there would be some breakage since I didn't pack everything myself, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that none of the items they packed had broken. Also, none of my walls were damaged during my move (the last time I moved I hired a different company that put dents in my walls and didn't pay to repair them). First off, David came through at the last minute when we (my husband and I) were cancelled on by our moving company the morning of. They were the first company with movers available that day so we went with it. That was great! They showed up on time which was great. However, they were pretty slow. My husband and the assistant did the majority of the moving. Our couch was mildly damaged. To boot, he decided to take a restroom break outside of his truck rather than asking to use our restroom. The apartment we moved out of is in the middle of Buckhead...not an appropriate place to relieve yourself. Once arriving at our house, myself, my husband, and the assistant (who had NO idea how to properly move things as evidenced by stacking multiple boxes of books on top of FRAGILE china) moved absolutely everything. David did not get out of the truck at all.
