I went to High School at Galloway in the late 90's and I highly recommend it. I'll be sending my kids there when they are older if I'm living in Atlanta. The class sizes are small and the teachers foster discussions rather than memorization of facts. They are also very flexible, crafting classes for 3 students or even 1 student, at times to meet individual needs and interests. The school places value in fostering a lifetime love of learning, not just learning enough facts to get a diploma. They want their students to be curious and enjoy new experiences and continue the learning process throughout adulthood. The school has expanded since I went, but based on a recent visit back and looking at the classrooms and many of the same teachers still present, it appears that they haven't changed their philosophy even if the buildings and grounds have changed.
Worship With Wonders Church is an anointed house of God. Pastors Myles and Delana Rutherford are energetic apical leaders. Yes, the previous post said there is a little of praise and worship. However, there's more. Bible study, Kingdom Classes, and various ministries. If you plug in and connect there are so many ways to be filled by the word of God.If the Holy Spirit leads the pastors from preaching, that's what they do. They don't operate on a itinerary. They allow God to guide the sermon. If that's new to you, it's ok. Attend more than one service. Each visit touched me.The location isn't ideal (beneath Marshall's next to Olive Garden). The location doesn't stop the church from touching the people who attend.I was shocked by the casual dress and large group of youth. These aren't church people. These are devoted Christians hunger for God's presence.
A modern, vibrant church with contemporary music and relevant, inspiring messages. Amazing kids' program. Love this church!
Par excellent! I am a parent of students at both the EA (elementary academy) and JA (junior academy) the rigor of the curriculum and the dedication of the teachers are unmatched for a public school. My family and I are proud to be Drew Eagles!
We love our school! Our children experience a level of thoughtful, caring education that cannot be found elsewhere in our area. Beyond the regular classroom expectations they are exposed to a vast array of specials ranging from robotics to chorus, to dance and engineering.
We've been at Drew for 5 years now. They focus on project based learning and have put arts back into a STEM curriculum. Drew operates on a STEAM curriculum. It has been a great experience for my kids.
Magnificent worship. Wonderful child care. Passionate people. Top experience. Mostly, always a great message delivered.
Mostly a lot of hype. They don't really break down the Word. You just end up with an hour long of "praise and worship" and 30 minutes of message (which is usually just life stories). Wednesday night bible study isnt thorough and the word isnt broken down well. You just end up listening to more life stories.
This svhool is aweful. Tne teachers dont do as mich as they can with the children and the faculty supplrts this habbit. The priorities are not at nest intrest of the children.
Outstanding group of people. We had our children there for 9 years in total. Definitely recommend for Pre K as long as Ms. Elisha is still there. She rocks!
