I just want everyone to know that this is one of the worst nail salons, if not THE WORST nail salon that I have ever been to in my life . First of all, the lady I’m assuming that owns the salon (she sits in the very front to the right usually ) was EXTREMELY rude . Everything I was telling or expressing to her , she’d cut me off and say “baby I got this , stop talking “ , as though I’m not even paying her . Second of all this is my second time going here and I got my nails done this past Saturday and all of them are already coming off . It is only Monday. It happened the first time as well but since it’s so close to my house , I figured maybe it might have been me the last time . The staff was not very friendly , both times I went and the lady had awful customer service . Won’t be going back !!!! That’s for sure . And I advise no one else waste their time or money here also . I also forgot to mention that the lady was trying to tell me they were closed at 7:30 when it says 8p.m. On the door !!!!
4-5 time going to Aijine. May 22nd I got Cashmere individual lashes that took over 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was told by Aijine, they were the BEST quality. I can do ANYTHING in them besides: pull on them or remove them myself. They last up to 2 weeks. I haven’t done ANYTHING in them besides sleep and didn’t even sleep on them. The NEXT day, I noticed a section MISSING! I text her, she stated she’ll fix it when I get back in town. The NEXT morning, more lashes was falling out in a different section. I text her instantly, told her what happened and I want my money BACK. I gave her 2 day options and time slots, to remove them and give me my refund. She texts: “I’m sorry for your inconvenience...” She was very willing to right her wrong at MY convenience, BEFORE I asked for my money back! After Swangela the Owner commented on my review. She called hours later with NO RESOLUTION. She stated she call me back, once she spoke with Aijine again. She stated, removing my lashes would only take 10 MINUTES. Swangela also does lashes. Neither called me back with a resolution, this day. 9:28 am 5/25/18 morning (Friday), Aijine called me, from ignoring my texts from 8:32 am yesterday morning and I texted her 7pm, to let her know when I will be coming to get my money back. She stated over the phone this morning, she does NOT give refunds. I can get a credit at the shop. I told her, this was NOT stated prior to my services verbally nor written. She says, that’s how SHE does business. Swangela the Owner calls me to bully me to stop reviewing her company. She says EXACTLY that. She BLOCKS me on social media, in attempt to prevent me from reviewing her business. She rants and takes ZERO ownership for my experience with Aijine, does NOT offer my money back. She says, that’s SOLELY up to Aijine. Every time she called, she literally was NOT presenting ANY resolution, just fueling the fire in bullying me to try and silence me. $120 back but she’d rather try to scare me into dropping it.
I do not recommend this place. MARIA the lady who did my pedicure last time was very rough and caused my toes to bleed. I mentioned something to her about how she was handling my feet and she got upset and reused to do my pedicure any longer. Mind you I am a long-time customer who been coming to this nail salon for over two years. Today, I decided to stop by to get a pedicure and have my normal nail tech fix my nail. Julie the manager told the Spanish lady to do my pedicure and the lady refused and took someone else after I came in before them. I mentioned to her why is she refusing she has never done my pedicure but I guess since Maria was upset about me giving her direction on my pedicure she told all the other Spanish women not to deal with my feet. First off wow and especially since I been a loyal customer for over two years. This place is beyond unprofessional and Julie the manager allowing her staff to disrespect customers and refuse service because a client is a little picky about her pedicures and roughness. Karen the lady who normally does my feet wasn’t there so I couldn’t get a pedicure service that involved a Spanish lady. Wow!!! Every month I spend about $200-$275 at this place and for the service to be like this after two years loyalty. I will not recommend this place. I decided to not return to this salon and switched over to Lush Nail Bar at Atlantic station. I went straight to this salon right after this incident. This salon is more expensive however the service is exceptional and they even serve champagne or wine. By far this is the best salon in the city. Do not visit nail talk and tan and especially Maria she’s very rough and rude.
On Sat Apr 28 went in for a SNS manicure. Signed in for $40 on the sheet. Then when I checked out, was told it was $49 because - and get this - "he cut my cuticles and gave me a 2 min massage". Really? Who goes in for a manicure and pays extra to have their nails filed, cuticles cut and a limp massage??Management was completely indifferent. they just kept saying in their ridiculous Broken English, "not sorry, he cut cuticle"Also, just to mention. This place is filthy. The ladies room toilet was gross, paper was piled high in the waste basket and the sink was filthy.Never again. There are way too many places. I don't accept Customer No-Service!!! They really don't care for thier customers.
I love this salon. It’s a little cold in there because they keep the back door open but other than that. They Rock!!
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!! Just go to the nail salon across the street. I wouldn't lie (there's no reason). I paid to have my nails done on a Saturday. One chipped on Sunday, I went back, the owner repaired it. By Tuesday, 4 out of 10 nails were chipped. When I returned to the owner, she made an "on the spot" policy that I have to come back AGAIN for the person who did them initially. This salon is money hungry. They took my money and left me to go to my professional job with half of my gel polish missing on 4 of my fingers.

I walked in around 6:30 and they close at 7:30 and there was one woman sitting in the lobby and 6 technicians working and as soon as I told her I just wanted a fill-in and a pedicure, she tried to discourage me by saying that I’d have to wait a long time. It was as if she wanted to discourage me from waiting because she wanted to leave early. I didn’t see a long wait, so I sat and waited anyway. The vibes were cold and offsetting. I don’t want to come here anymore, but they were right across the street and could have had a loyal repeat customer if they cared about their clients more. Guess that’s why there is a nail shop on every corner. I’d also like to add that I’m a black female, so that may have had something to do with it, because they were anxious to service the white woman
I was in the area and decided to kill time and pop in for a pedicure. I would never come back to this place. Couldn't do my standard pedicure right but the massage on the feet was ok. Didn't properly cut cuticles and couldn't even get my hang nails out. I will just pay and leave. Thought about getting lashes and brows done but no way!
