I just moved here from New York about three years ago where I was with my dentist for a very long time, and loved every visit I scheduled, everything was handled promptly and professionally.
It took me some time to decide to find a dentist and schedule a routine cleaning as I have very healthy teeth and was in no rush. Decided to go with Dr. Negelow for the fact that his office is right around the corner from where I live and his receptionist told me he was from Ny so that made me feel better. While I was in the chair waiting for the procedure, I had felt that he was jumping back and forth from me and another client which we all know is wrong. After the evaluation his assistant came in to do the cleaning, it was like she had never done this before and I was her test patient, needless to say very uncomfortable.
Now for the worst of it all, I gave the receptionist all my health care information up front before the evaluation and walked out after expecting everything to be taken care of their end and just a letter in the mail or an E-mail saying thanks and as to when I'm due back. Instead I am due back for a cleaning and the initial bill is still outstanding, my insurance has yet to receive a claim, phone call, e-mail, or fax from Dr. Negelows office and I have called and left messages on their machine stating what is going on, this is my number and insurance address, and never once got a call back.
Finally got ahold of his office and the receptionist cannot handle the difficulties so she puts the Dr.( if that is what we are calling him) on the phone, he finds my info like I stated earlier and apologized on the phone, e-mail, and in his next statement, this statement was to let me know that they have issued the claim and that I owe a $100.00 deductible. Well my insurance has yet to receive anything and I went through the charges from my first and last appointment and they said that everything is covered and there is no deductible as no major work was performed.
Simply put, irresponsible, very very unprofessional and scammers. I think I will just fly to Ny two times a year to my old dentist because this is a headache and time consuming. Did I say already that I am due for my next cleaning, 6 months!!!!

I have had my share of visits to the dentist troughout the years, most of them good, some of them not so good. Dr. Negelow and his staff are wonderful. They make me feel so comfortable, that i have fun when i go see them, and i look foward to seeing Dr. Negelow and his staff for many years to come.
I HIGHLY recommend anyone to go visit him and see for yourself !!

I have been seeing Dr. Negelow for over 2 years now after having seen the same dentist for over 15 years. My experience with Dr. Negelow and his staff has been completely different from the poor review posted by another patient. Dr. Negelow has spent more time with me than previous dentists and I feel he has evaluated and appropriately recommended dental procedures. At no time have I felt pressured or like the office was trying to ""sell"" me something. I do not find the prices higher than my previous dentist, they seem right in line. I will say that Dr. Negelow is a ""character"" but for me it made the experience more relaxing and fun. He has done some work other than my every 6 month cleaning and I have found his work to be thoughtful, artful and compassionate. My questions are always answered in a thoughtful manner and I feel the exams I receive every 6 months are thorough and contributing to my oral health. I would indeed recommend Dr. Negelow and the office, but if you do not have a sense of humor find someone more stoic.

Where to begin... this was, hands down, one of the worst dental experiences I have ever had. I don't mind visiting the dentist twice a year for annual cleanings, etc., and have never even had so much as a cavity, so I was eager to visit Dr. Negelow. However, from the moment I entered his practice, I encountered nothing but unprofessionalism and tactless behavior from him and his entire staff.
Apparently, Dr. Negelow does not have a clear understanding of good ""bedside manner,"" as he made numerous overtly sexual comments to me. I was extremely uncomfortable, and when I made it known, he brushed me off.
The staff tried to sell me products that I did not need or want, and upon my decline, I was made to feel as though I was being ""cheap."" The prices at Dr. Negelow's office were also outrageous-- charging at least 50% more than any other dentist I have ever heard of.
All in all, this was a terrible experience and I strongly discourage anyone from visiting Dr. Negelow.
