They make a killer vanilla latte! Also, this is the perfect place to grab a breakfast sandwich before you wait for the bus or Marta. I recommend the ham and cheese on a croissant. They seem to be under staffed so service can be really slow. If there's a line longer than 3 people I usually just leave because it's not unusual to wait 10-15 minutes.
So, after reading some great reviews for this place, I was excited to check it out and took my best friend and her hubby (who were visiting for the first time). I was highly disappointed! The food was OK, but my breakfast combo cost over 10 bucks with a chocolate banana frappe. This wouldn't have been a problem if the food had been great, but the oatmeal was watery, the toast was drier than it should be, the *ham* I got was simply sandwich meat heated up.. but the eggs were decent. I will say that my frappe was pretty tasty, but my friend's iced coffee was terrible. Her husband's bacon, egg and cheese croissant wasn't up to par because the bacon was undercooked so he had to take it out (too chewy). Now for the service.. they are wayyy understaffed and not very friendly at all. I am not one to need a super cheerful cashier just to get breakfast, but I have had better experiences with fast food service than I did here. Overall, this place is overpriced, with underwhelming food and subpar service. The only thing I might possibly go back for is that frappe, because it is convenient (I live in Uptown Square Apartments which is above this place).

Let me tell you about my worst coffee shop experience ever. My friend and I were on a study break during grad school finals and we decided to go to SIP (for the first time) and grab a drink. She ordered two beers for the both of us and paid. They asked for IDs after the fact (we're both well over 21) and unfortunately I had left mine with all my stuff at school. They then told her she had better not be serving beer to a minor. After that accusation she asked for her money back which they declined to do, so she was stuck with the two beers they refused to refund. We decided to sit somewhere away from the poor customer service, only to be approached a few minutes later by the same cashier who started yelling at us and accusing her of serving a minor. I'm not a minor, I don't even look like one and I hadn't touched her beers, was just waiting for her to finish.
It was so awful. $20 spent on two beers that she didn't even want to drink after the way we were treated, so we left. We also ordered coffees which sucked.
Also if you're looking for a creative atmosphere to get work done, this is not the place. The crowd was mostly in their 30's/40s, played elevator music and (I kid you not) several of the customers were reading newspapers (we went at night).
Go to Octane if you can. Great music, great service and atmosphere, not to mention the great art on the walls and events they have. Plus they serve better beer.

Finally open for business, This Ultra-modern lounge encourages guests to stay awhile and just ""Chill"" The menu features french pressed coffees, tasty espresso drinks, whole leaf teas, sweet treats(try the Carrot Spice cake, moist and delicious), I had my favorite drink, Soy Iced Chai Tea, I'm rambling..back to my review... If you're hungry for something light...feast on their house-made salads or deli sandwiches, in addition, light breakfast foods are served....evening appetizer plates and a variety of boutique wines and small craft beers.
Artwork of local artists such as ""Kimmy Cantrell"" who by the way is the owner's brother, add that urban connection, while smooth global lounge music seduces you to stay awhile, sit on the patio, people watch, read a magazine/newspaper, connect to the web or buy fresh flowers....It's easy to find, it's street level and it's right next to the Lindbergh MARTA station.

I have studied here a few times. The coffee and cookies were excellent but both a little pricey. The staff was very nice, everything was clean, and the decor was modern and tasteful. I am definitely happy that this place is in Lindbergh Station and not another Starbucks.
