Fun atmosphere, good pizza, interesting waits. Very kid friendly. Excellent place to hang out for dinner with family and run into friends.

L5P's is a cool place to hang out. for young eccentrics.. and normally when I'm in the area, I eat at Savage Pizza even though there's Fellini's (on Ponce) and L5P (near Euclid) pizza as well... they are pretty good too. I always go to Savage, their wait staff is nice and mellow ... the pizza is good and so are their calzones and subs. I recommend a veggie sub for vegetarians or a bolognese pizza for newbies/// simply because the red wine infused sauce has many layers of flavor. Bolognese: red wine marinara, italian sausage, red onions and sun dried tomatoes. If the weather is nice, sit out on the patio and chill out.
The pizzas are fresh and made to order, the ingredients are delicious, their salad is the good fresh greens and their house dressing is wonderful - the iced tea is good, the calzones, the desserts are wonderful....thanks Savage Pizza...plus you get to experience Little Five Points....by Judy with Atlanta Moonwalk & Party Rentals and a member of The Barter Co.

We just ordered from Savage and we were very disappointed. The crust was not crispy at all, which was probably a result of the pizza sitting in the box for an hour while it was waiting to be delivered. Savage quotes us 45 minutes for delivery and ended up taking an hour and a half. The pizza was cold and soggy by the time it arrived. Our home is literally one left turn away from Savage, yet the driver had a difficult time finding it. Also, we chose the red wine marinara sauce and it had a very odd flavor to it, almost as if cinnamon had been added. With all the pizza choices in Atlanta, we'll go somewhere else next time.

I have been to Savage Pizza twice over the past couple of months and have loved it both times. The pizza there was excellent - we ordered the Cajun both times because it was so good, and the caesar salad was really yummy and has a huge portion. We ordered chicken on the caesar both times and they put lots of chicken breast on top it. The atmosphere is very casual - good for friends or your family, not so much for a date. Our service the first time was a little shaky - she didn't come around much and had a bit of an attitude, but we had a different server the second time and she was pretty good. She checked on us just enough times and was pleasant.

We always love to drop into Savage Pizza, when playing in LF5. It has it's own unique funkiness, and servers. Pies are thin crusted, with good sauce and toppings. Don't expect any special service here. Just go with the flow. Call ahead for pick-up, if in the area. Parking can be a little tight.

I agree that the pizza was great but our waitress was very rude. She would bring out our food or drinks (which took forever) and never spoke or smiled. If you're not a friendly person, you probably shouldn't have a customer service type job. Next time, I will order my pizza for pick-up!

Savage is an amazing secert in the Atl. pizza scene. Much better than any of the chains (local or national). My boyfriend will be so mad that I am giving away our specialty, but here it is: order the spicey red pepper sauce, roasted garlic and chevre cheese. Every other week there is a $2 off coupon for Savage in Creative Loafing and you can download them from the Savage website. Use the coupons, Savage ain't cheap but it's good. Pick up a pizza then head to the Starlight Drive-In!

Located in Little 5 Points, you just can't beat Savage Pizza. The menu provides for the usual pepperoni and sausage fare, but for the creative and adventurous the there is a choice of sauces and toppings to fit any palate. Greek Pizza is a winner as is their Greek Salad.
