We came here for my husband's birthday. The service was mediocre. The meat was tasty, but very very salty. The side dishes in the buffet were sad and old. There was very little selection for sides. We ended up eating just meat. I think for what you get, the prices are really high.
The worst experience ever... I purchases a groupon ... attempted to make a reservation 2 times and was told there we no availability for GROUPONs on this night. Then when we finally got a reservation ... we went there only to be told we couldn't use it!!!! Thank goodness Groupon gave us a refund but we will never go back there again!

I made reservations for six of us to celebrate a friend's birthday because I thought it would be a fun place for us. When I called to make the reservations, I inquired about the free birthday cake that they advertise and offer and was told it was a small cheesecake which was fine with me. Before eating, we asked the maneger, Mr. Lee, about a groupon we had and was told by him that the groupon was not valid and it was a mistake by groupon even though we showed him the website. When then decided to begin our meal. The meat was good but the salad bar was a joke. Additionally the only other side choices were some beans and plain rice, fried bananas and two soups (neither of which were tasty). Once we started eating, we asked for fresh plates and was told by a waiter, Georgie, in his words ""Wait a minute! Can't you see I'm doing something?!"" We and the carver were shocked. Near the end of the evening, I asked about the ""free"" cake and was given the run around. Finally, I asked Mr. Lee and he acted as if he had no idea what I was talking about. So i asked them to bring out a piece of cake so we could at least do the birthday thing. Afterward, we asked for our checks from Georgie. After ten minutes, we asked again for our bills and was told by Georgie that ""their coming....give it a minute"". After 18 minutes we finally got our bills (totalling over $300 for six people) and a lot more. One of the members of our party was cursed at and threatened by Georgie. We were shocked and floored and asked for the manager to which Georgie replied, ""I am the F***ing manager!"" So, I said can you get whoever is over you. He then beckoned Mr. Lee who did absolutely nothing. I asked Mr. Lee to call the police because this had gone too far and wanted to file a complaint with them about his employee's behavior. After talking with the police (who was awesome and very professional), we then paid our bills and was told by Mr. Lee that we must had done something to his employee to make him act that way. When I expressed how the night was ruined and that I would never return to this establishment, Mr. Lee replied ""thank you....you people brought trouble and you scare me"". Even the officer that came per our request looked at him in disbelief. After 4 hours at Red and Green, my party left with bad memories and regrets on an evening that was supposed to be a celebration.
I spend thousands of dollars a year on dining. This was the worst experience I have ever had at an establishment. I will NEVER patronize this place again and I urge all those reading to think about your choice as well. There are other Brazilian steak houses in the city that are far better. They may be pricier but you get what you pay. Spend the money.....save the diappointment.

Just used my Groupon for Red & Green brazilian steakhouse yyyyyuck!
I'll be generous and give it a 2 out of 10 and then they had the nerve to charge 18% gratuity (over $18) on top of tab plus drinks.. Food was dry & salad bar was a joke compared to Fogo .. Get a groupon credit for your $49 if you can! Was NOT worth the drive to Buford Hwy... They want you to chose the bottle of wine (included in the Groupon deal) from the cheapest bottle of wine on wine list......Terrible terrible place to dine...Oh by the way Korean run NOT Brazilian...

I went there last night. I am very unhappy. From the moment I entered it was agony for me. There was only one person at the reception and as a Main Server. when we entered he left other guests for us to be seated and left us 3 times while taking order to welcome new Guests and make them seat. This was very frustrating. He kept on trying to push the Wines which they might be making more money and dissuading us from the wine we wanted. The Salad Bar was not full and had some empty Plates. The Food was Miserable and tasted weird as if it was not what they were saying. The meat tasted differently could be some other Animal than advertised. The Server would bring only 2 Pieces of meat for 2 of us as if we were been fed leftovers or they did not want us to eat at all. The only brazilian thing in that Hell was the Server which they had Poached from Fogo De Chao by offering him more pay. They Charged us 18% Gratuity and when asked why they were pointing us to the Fine Print of Their policy is to charge gratuity if there is more than 5 People at a table not 2 Person. This place is garbage. The food stinks . The place stinks. And the owners should close down the place instead of making their customers suffer. He should go to another Brazilian Steakhouse and see the difference. I have a Stomach Pain and I am feeling very weak.
I have to admit, Red and Green Brazilian Steakhouse is a little random. In addition to the location, there's a glass sliding door that opens when you enter which totally reminded me going into a supermarket. The waiters are all dressed up in an Alladin/musketeer-like get up.
We went during lunch when there were very little people. The person I was with really like the food -especially the steak (rump roast, I believe). Unfortunately, they weren't serving filet mignon or prime rib for lunch. I thought the meat was okay, and some of it was dry. I did like the cheesy balls though. The salad bar was pretty standard, nothing special though. I particularly liked the plantains, but then again when do I not.
Reasonable pricing. Good service.

Four of us ate at the Red and Green last night (Saturday 7/30) after reading reviews that were positive. The place was empty at 6:30. We walked by the salad bar which looked like the stuff had been there since lunch. We should have left and saved the money.
This certainly was the worst meal that any of us ever ate in and around Atlanta. The staff was rude and gave a new definition to slow and bad service.
Yes, the meat slowly arrived at the table but the same meat kept making an appearance. Chicken wrapped in bacon came four times before any beef dish. Then top round came three times. When asked about the better beef and the beef ribs we were told to be patient. The beef ribs finally arrived but was raw and bloody. The other beef offerings were tough and overcooked. Cheese bread was soggy and uncooked.
There are no vegetables or potatoes on the salad bar - only mushrooms dripping in vinegar. There were sliced bananas and potatoe sticks. Yes, potatoe sticks right from the can. Managment never came to the table despite our requests.
Even at $30.00 per person this was an absolute waste of money and two hours time. To compare this place with Fogo de Chao is a joke. Even at $60. per person Fogo is a wonderful experience.
We left feeling ripped off and angry.

the worst experience I've had in ages... the reviews are misleading and not accurate. Today is my birthday and based on the reviews, I decided to invite a couple of friends to visit this place.. we had reservation and when I first walked at the place I noticed that something terrible wrong was about to happen.... The food is ordinary, the place has absolutely nothing Brazilian... they should expect for us and not even salad hey had at their salad bar.... skimpy and COLD meat, terrible, embarrassing, a TOTAL RIP OFF. They charged $ 27 per person plus the sodas when the food presented doesn't worth even $ 10. A terrible experience, if they have no competence to have a restaurant, they should close for good. I give MINUS 5 stars to this place.
like others, I was attracted by the comparatively reasonable price this restaurant charges, compared to the others in Atlanta. It wasn't hard to figure out why they are less expensive. As other reviewers have commented, the decor is very nice, and the staff is very friendly and mostly attentive. However, the meats were fair at best, and while they did have a good quantity of salad type foods, they were very lacking in side dishes. Like others have commented, I think I'd rather pay the higher price and get better food.

Went there for lunch with a large group. Everything was excellent including the service! The lunch menu is somewhat limited, but includes all you can eat for $16, which I thought was a really good deal. Dinner is around $28 per person, but also includes more high-end meat selections. I would definitely go back!

I took my family to this restaurant. I will say that the restaurant is decorated beautifully. The staff is also friendly. But the food is terrible. I tried this restaurant based on the reviews of this web site. As some of the reviewers pointed out the food is less expensive than Fogo. But the food does not even compare to Fogo. The salad bar really did not have anything good to choose from. The meat came really slow and did not taste good at all. If you are looking for inexpensive Churrascaria
then try Carne N' Espeto. If you are looking for a great Churrascaria then go to Fogo.

Have been to this steakhouse several times with large and small groups (it is family friendly) and the food is good and inexpensive compared to other Braizilian steakhouses. The staff is always willing to meet your needs and they are very helpful and accomodating.

14 people went for my birthday dinner, and the service was great, the food was endless and delicious (great salad bar in addition to all fire grilled meats) plus they gave me a bottle of wine and a whole cake to celebrate. Less expensive than Fago de Chao and Sal Grosso, and the same great food with a beautiful atmosphere. Going back as soon as my belly shrinks again.

Our first experience at this restaurant was not a very good one! Even though the service was very friendly and good, the food was just not up to par. Between the different cut of meats you could not tell the difference in flavor, or if it even had a flavor.. As well as the salad bar did not have much to choose from. We spent most of the night waiting on something to come by, as if more staff was needed . This restaurant does not compare to Fogo or Chima. Those restaurants have great food and fast service, You never find yourself sitting waiting on food like we did at The Red and Green Brazillian Steakhouse. The price however was cheaper than the above named but that's where the old saying comes from...""You Get What You Pay For!!!""

This place is grossly underrated. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the service was fantastic. And the meats....well above superb!! I think that the location makes people think that it may not be a good choice, but as soon as you step inside of this restaurant, you will forget that you are on Buford Highway. Exceptionally clean and the decor is highly upscale. If you have a chance, check out their website. The pictures will give you a good inclination of what to expect. But you have to experience it for yourself. Please check this place out. I love dining there but the word needs to get out more so we can keep places like this in business!!!

My wife and I are health nuts, but special occasions allow for special exceptions. We haven't been to any kind of All-You-Can-Eat place in probably five years, and there's a reason for it. We find buffets to be stocked with unhealthy food, manned by indifferent service, at prices that are rarely even fair. Red & Green Steakhouse, we were told, was exactly an exception to that norm.
First of all, the place is super deluxe inside, and I'm not kidding. I can't guess what it costs to dec out an interior space of this size, but no expense seems spared. It's comfortable, clean and very relaxing. For an anniversary, we're off to a pretty good start here.
We dug in to the salad bar and it was great because it's not just designed to load you up on carbs. There are veggies, fruits, all kinds of salads, and enough other things for those of us watching what we eat (even at an all-you-can-eat) that we didn't have to choose between leaving hungry or hating ourselves; we got the third option.
Then came the gauchos. Every few minutes a server would come by and offer us something familiar, or something we'd never even heard of, but almost all of it was exceptional. Modestly seasoned, not overcooked and always interesting. I won't say bad things about it just because I don't like ANY food wrapped in bacon, but I'm sure it was tasty too, just wasn't ready to go quite that far.
The bill came, the price was right, and our dinner was done. I'd say this could be my every-anniversary thing, but I suspect we'll be back long before then.
