I'm going to start off with the positives: The hours are very convenient and the parking is free after 10pm.On the other hand, Valerie does not listen to the clients' needs and wants. I was very specific in the way I wanted my hair and she did the total opposite even after I kept repeating it. Now I'm stuck with a hairstyle I'm not satisfied with. I wasn't even happy with the way my hair was shampooed and blow dried. As she was shampooing my hair, I actually had to scratch and massage my own scalp. Then she blow dried my NATURAL hair with a small comb. Let's just say she will never touch my hair again!!!!!!!!

I wish I could give this salon NEGATIVE stars. My experience was AWFUL. I am quite possibly the most patient client in most situations, however, I had to wait for almost an hour (I could not leave because I purchased a Groupon and needed my hair done that night).
The stylist that was SUPPOSED to do my hair had overbooked, and someone else that WORKED in the salon (probably not a licensed stylist!!!) attempted to silk my hair. It turned out okay, but frizzed up immediately after leaving the salon. I probably could have saved my money and did my hair myself, and it would have turned out better.
After I mentioned that I initially came to get my ends trimmed, the stylist stopped working on someone else, and quickly cut my hair in a choppy fashion. Obviously, the haircut came out horribly. When I went to my normal stylist, she commented on how awful the cut was, and even showed me that it was extremely crooked.
Bottom line, it's a BOTTOM OF THE BARREL salon. Obviously they signed up for groupon because they do not have established clientele.
I can say that they do have a couple of cute items in their ""boutique"" section. But as far as hair goes, spare yourself the disaster and pay full price at another salon.

I love knowing that no matter what I am able to get my hair done. I am a teacher and a basketball coach so my days can be pretty long and hectic. It has been really hard trying to find a place to get my hair done when I am actually able to come. Most salons close too early for me to get to, even on the weekends. However, Red Carpet Hair design has never let me down. I am able to get an appointment when I need it most and know that my hair is going to look great.
I have had two different stylists to do my hair and they have each done an exceptional job. I love the relaxing scalp massage at the shampoo bowl to the quick and efficient presses that I need most. My hair is natural and it always looks great when I walk out the door and LASTS!
Most importantly both of my stylists are knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to discussing what I need to do to take care of my hair and addressing any other questions or concerns I may have. I definitely would rank this as a 5-star 'Run, Don't Walk'. If ever in desperate need, as I have been often, or just looking for a great place to get your hair done- Red Carpet is the place to go.

This was the worst salon experience ever. I spent over six hours at this salon getting a sew in weave. The stylist stopped working on me twice to work on other customers. At one point she actually left the salon to run an errand. The end result looked liked a cheap wig. Definitely not worth the high prices they charge,

The ladies and gentlemen at this Salon are very professional. The owner is really big on customer satisfaction and so are the stylist. I'm greeted everytime I walk through that door with a smile and a hello. The atmosphere is calming and so is the music. The owner is great. I had a Groupon, but because i wasnt satified she still allowed me to come back to make sure I was a happy customer. On top of that I am all natural so it was a task on my wonderful stylist. I love their customer service. This is indeed one of Atlantas premier salons. I would suggest this to all and anyone.

Fabulous experience at Red Carpet Hair Designs! Walked in late (11pm) with no appointment and was given individual service throughout my visit...I am rarely satisfied with new salons that I try, but this one definitely impressed me. The services were excellent, prices were very reasonable, and everything from my deep conditioning to my trim was absolutely perfect. I've been living in Atlanta and looking for a hair salon for 1 year, but my search is finally over! So pleased!

JASMINE MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE WHEN I WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR, SHE DIDDNT JUST RUSH ME TO THE CHAIR TO START ON MY HAIR. SHE FIRST ASK ME DID I WANT A BOTTLE OF WATER BEFORE WE START OUR CONSULTATION. JASMINE HELP ME COME UP WITH AN IDEA TO TAKE CARE OF MY HAIR AND SHE WAS ABLE TO DO THE SEW IN THAT I ASK FOR. SHE BRAIDS THE HAIR IN VERY SMALL BRAIDS SO IT CAN LAY FLAT AND THE WAY SHE CUT AND CURLED MY HAIR IT LOOKED NAURAL.
AFTER SHE DID MY HAIR SHE DID INDVIDUAL EYE LASHES AND MY MAKE UP. IM A VERY PICKY WOMAN AND SHE DID MORE THAN I EXPECTED. NOT TO MENTION SHE TOLD ME ABOUT A PRODUCT LINE MOROCCAN OIL. JASMINE DID A REALLY GOOD JOB I DIDDNT FEEL RUSHED AND I WAS NOT IN THERE ALL DAY. I CAN TELL SHE CARES WHAT SHE DO. I KNOW FOR SURE IM COMING BACK TO J SALON TO SEE JASMINE. MY EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT!
THANKS AGAIN TAMMY

I nearly had a major melt down after I let my cousin experiment and put a weave in my hair. It was a godd blend of hair but a mess of a style. I went the next mornign driving around atlanta looking for a salon to remove it and style my hair. J salons is where I ended up. Cyre who is a phenomenal stylist greated me immediately and gave the best customer service I have ever had at a salon. On top of that she had me in and out in a short amount of time. She did a awesome job on my hair. I have been going to ehr ince. My hair is healthier and always looks its best. I can only give her five stars...only negative thing I ahve to say is about the owner who seems not to know the ropes about running a salon. i wanted color and couldnt have that service down per my appt as he had the products locked up and didnt even come till after my hair was complete to unlock it. If he wants to keep paying customers you need to run it as a salon. Products need to be readily available for the stylist as you never know what a clients wants. When a client is pleased they always come back and that keeps a business striving. Other than that....Cyre keep up the great work. She has a wonderful personality and a gift for hair so I definitely recommend her to anyone..cuts color weaves natural anything shes great !
