Best Bar-b-Que in town

The meat was so tender it was falling off the bone. I had the Royal Flush Baked Potatoe as well stuffed the rim with butter, cheese, sour cream and smoked chicken on top. I couldn't finish it all. Bruskwick stew was great full of meat and corn and potatoes. The pound cake and peach cobbler are to die for. Check this place out and bring your friends

Not to be mistaken for Hambones

This place opened in the old Hambones location, beside the Wendys and behind the Liquor. I ate there yesterday, ordered a Pork Sandwich with Brunswick stew as a side, (which came in a 3 oz bowl...really small), a bag of chips and a drink. It came to just under nine dollars,(tip not included), which was fairly high.
The sandwich was good, a healthy meet portion, but on a small bun. Sauces available are hot or mild, both good, but not extraordinary.

Brunswick Stew wasn't Bad, it just wasn't Brunswick Stew, for it was far more like vegetable soup.

The reason i'm probably not returning was the swarming flies in the dining area. I asked a woman behind the counter if the door could be closed, but she responded that the restaurant became too smoked up when the door was closed, but they were going to have a Screen installed in January she said.
She also said, ""it's BBQ, it's going to attract flies.""

My order had not yet come up,so I seriously pondered the idea to request a refund on my Debt card and going someplace else to eat. At no given time where there less than 3 flies on my small table alone.. I covered the surface I was eating on with paper towels, ate quickly and got out of there.

My decades working in food services would dictate that If the employees are that callous regarding a infestation, I can only wonder what other sanitation and proper food handling and storage messures are being violated.

My quess is, the health department would probably feel the same way.
