Overall

I am new to the Atlanta Metro area and each week I try and visit a different LYS. When I walked in on Saturday afternoon no one greeted me as you are usually greeted by other LYS. Additionally, I walked the length of the shop and back and still no one acknowledged my presence nor asked if I needed any assistance. I also thought it was interesting when a customer made a large purchase of yarn and asked the owner/cashier if she could wind the yarn and she said no, she did not have time. Geez, no one else was being assisted and it was an hour before closing so where did her time need to be used?!I have traveled extensively and visited hundreds of LYS and this was the worse! I will not be a patron of this shop

Rude, unhelpful staff--Don't Bother

I was excited to have some time to browse in Needle Nook--flip through patterns and feel the wonderful yarns, but my excitement turned to disappointment. The older gentleman was working and he never acknowledged me. He was busy knitting and complaining about having to help customers check out. He said this among 3-4 customers including myself. When I asked him for help in locating a particular yarn, he kept knitting and pointed in the direction where I might find the yarn. His attitude was course, abrupt, and rude. I walked out and will not be returning. There are other yarn stores closer to my home which have a welcoming shop and staff.
