I'm a single father and have been here twice. The staff seemed nice enough and the haircut was ok, although I will agree with previous posts as it is over priced. Im a single father with a demanding job so really the only time i can get a haircut is on the weekend when i have her. She has sat in my lap and has always been good while I get my haircut the previous 2 visits. As I just tried to set my next appointment, I was told by the manager to come without my daughter as it was destracting to their staff. Clearly I will never come back, but this guy has more to worry about than losing my business, as I noticed when leaving this is a Paul Mitchel salon. Corporations don't think too much of descrimination. And yes, this was also the Tatooed gentleman mentioned in previous posts. I feel sorry for him, as well as the future of this new business.

I rarely write a bad review, knowing that everyone can make a mistake or have a bad day, but in this circumstance, it is deserved and others need to be aware and avoid this Salon.
1.The staff is incompetent and extremely rude, particularly the male ""host"" (arms covered with Tatoos--nothing against tats, just letting you know who it is). He needs lessons on customer service. Even answering the phone he makes you feel like you are inconveniencing and bothering him
2. They make incorrect appointments. You need to confirm before you go--your appointment might not be waiting for you.
3. It is overpriced. You are paying for what they think is a cool retro look, but the staff has high turnover and is mostly inexperienced. Look elsewhere for better cuts at a more reasonable price.
4. Look around, the place is most always empty with the exception of Sat afternoon. That ought to tell you something!
After just one visit I'm hooked. I'm a guy who has been getting $10-15 haircuts for years but was finally convinced to get a "real" haircut and someone referred me to Nadine's. It's got a great atmosphere and. The staff is warm and friendly - they even offered me a drink as soon as I got there. The neck and scalp massage was a wonderful start. And the haircut was worth the price. Plus, they told me I could come back for a "tune up" between visits if needed! I'll definitely be back.

Jason cut my hair and did my color and he did a great job. I really love it now! I was impressed with how friendly all the staff were with each other and with all the customers. Some salons can be snooty and snippy but I felt very at home and comfortable at Nadine's. VA Highlands parking is a pain in the rear but there are also cool restaurants, bars and shops nearby so I try to make my appointments a ""twofer"" by hitting one of them while I'm in the area.

I absolutely love this salon! I followed my stylist Allison from another salon, and I love everything about Nadine's. I've had my hair done by numerous high end salons all over the country and I can't say enough good things about Allison - I'll sum it up by this - I still drive 6 hours to Atlanta from my current home in Florida because no one seems to be able to come close to the quality of cut and highlights I get at Nadine's. The atmosphere is great, relaxing, fun and the entire staff is fabulous!

Tonya is wonderful!! My hair has never looked better, and she's a blast. Plus, this place has the best magazine selection. When you're finished and looking beautiful, there are lots of places to take your new hair out for a drink - you're at the intersection of Virginia and North Highland.

This salon is fantastic. The atmosphere and location are terrific. The staff is efficient, friendly, and professional. As opposed to a rush in-rush out experience, you are treated as a valued patron every single visit. I've had several cuts and will never go anyplace else. The scalp massage alone is worth the visit. I recommend Nadine's to absolutely everyone I know. The best!

I love this place. I have been here a few times for haircuts and have always walked out extremely happy with my cut. The staff here is wonderful and thus far it has been pretty easy to get appointments, even on weekends. In particular, I have never had more people compliment me on my new 'do than with the last cut I got at Nadine's. Easily best hair-cut I've ever had (and *not* the most expensive).

I had such a great experience at Nadines! Everyone was very nice and very professional. My stylist actually listened to me and gave me the cut I wanted! My color turned out perfectly-my highlights have never looked so natural. All-in-all it was probably the best cut &color I have ever received! I will definately be going back.

I found this spot by dumb luck. Coming from out of state, I was looking for a salon that would do a clipper cut. I'm accustomed to having a shampoo done after the barber is done, but with a clipper cut, ""wash your hair at home"" is the general MO. Nadine's, however, ""gets it."" Here you get the kind of care that only a discerning male can appreciate-- ask and ye shall receive (for the requisite price, of course). The tea tree shampoo is wonderful, and I didn't mind the neck massage either. A complimentary drink is offered to patrons - beer, wine, other... my personal favorite is the cream soda, since I have to drive. And if you're a regular, they might just have have ""your usual"" on its way out of the fridge on sight. Final verdict? Given the opportunity, I'm in there every two weeks just because I like it. A class act. 'Nuff said.

This place is such a find. $45 bucks gets you a glass of wine, a soothing head massage, a shampoo, cut and blowdry with friendly hairdressers and plenty of good magazines lying around. The decor is great and they have little tvs by all the stations playing movies for additional entertainment. All-around an excellent salon experience!

I love this place so much....since I started coming to Nadine's for cut, color and 3-times-a-week blowdrys, I have had so many compliments on my hair. The texture is finer, the color is better, and I look flawless all week long. Long live Nadine's!!!!!!!!

Nadine's Triple Crown is the best salon in the mid-town area. It is new, fresh, classic, and elegant. The folks there are just tremendous - Nicki, Tanya, Bobby, (and George). They listen, do what you ask for, never seem to be in a hurry, and provide nice little ""perks"" to make your experience really nice. Highest recommendation possible!!!

The staff at Nadine's is profesional with a special kind of personal touch. You know you are special and treated with individual interest. Mr. George can give one of the best hot old fashion razor shaves in Atlanta. The atomsphere is down to earth, welcome, come on in, have a drink, yes! Free wine, and beer. All of that with Mr. George's hot shave and you'll be back. Try Nadine's!
