Resin Composite
Tooth bonding provides an alternative to silver, or amalgam, fillings. The composite resin is highly customizable to match the shade of your surrounding tooth enamel — and it is less sensitive to heat and cold than amalgam. Tooth-colored fillings require less removal of healthy tooth enamel than the silver alternative, and they also dry within minutes of application. The same material used for tooth colored fillings can also make cosmetic improvements to the front teeth.
Veneers
Porcelain veneers and Lumineers cover up dental imperfections in one to two visits to the dentist’s office. These thin layers of dental porcelain are affixed to the front surface of the teeth that show when you smile. Traditional porcelain veneers are irreversible because they require the removal of a thin layer of tooth enamel before placement. Lumineers can usually be placed without modification to the healthy tooth enamel, so they can usually be placed in just one visit to the dentist.

Bridges
Dental bridges are a tooth replacement made of three or more dental crowns affixed to one another. Root Canal Treatment
One of the reasons people dread visiting the dentist is simply because they fear needles. Local anesthesia numbs the jaw so you don’t feel a thing during procedures like fillings, extractions, and root canals, but some people just can’t bear the thought of even getting that first injection. It is a painless, computer-assisted anesthetic injection system — and it leads to happier patients, easier procedures, and better smiles overall.

Deep Cleaning
In its beginning stages, gum disease can be reversed with improved hygiene at home and a couple extra visits to the dentist. But for moderate cases of gum disease, Dr. Michaels will recommend scaling and root planing, also known as a deep cleaning. To perform this nonsurgical treatment, we use special tools to remove bacteria around and just below the gum line. Scaling cleans bacteria and plaque from the tooth and the pocket between it and the gums. Then planing smoothes the inflamed root to prevent reinfection.

Dentures
Dentures are prosthetic teeth attached to a gum-colored base, and they replace missing teeth to restore your ability to eat, speak, and smile with ease once again. A complete denture takes the place of all missing teeth in the upper or lower jaw. It is held tightly in the mouth using natural suction and a denture adhesive, as needed. A partial denture snaps in around the existing natural teeth, held in place with brackets and clips.

It is not unusual for preliminary bone grafting procedures to be required for the successful anchoring of the dental implants.
