Recently went here... Food was good, not spectacular but good for the price. Place is a little crowded and they need to remove a couple of tables. Felt closer to the adjacent table than I did to my own... Not easy to move through the place... Service was "average”… Still a good choice for dinner.

This has the best authentic Italian food our family has ever had. My 3 year old ordered the mac and cheese this was the real stuff no Kraft box here, she ate most of it and then more later that night. The Chicken Marsala was out of this world and the Chicken Spinach Manicotti was to die for. Even the bread was Great! The wine list was extensive. With the lighting, music and romantic atmosphere my husband and I lost ourselves in eachothers eyes until our kids asked us to help with tic tac toe on the kids menu. The best was the service! One all around wonderful experience. A must visit!

The food was quite Bland for Italian. My office went there for our Christmas luncheon, so I got to sample several of their dishes, including the tiramisu and apple crisp desserts. I wasn't impressed. However, I enjoyed the salads and stuffed mushrooms.

This is a great place to have a glass of wine while you wait for dinner. Live music most nights. The food is excellent. It's not the place for a ""romantic"" date, but more a gathering of family or friends. On weekends you should call and make a reservation, but if you don't they can usually get you a table within 30 minutes. GREAT wine selection.

My husband & I picked up an order of dinner & dessert & took it home to eat this past Saturday night. The evening was going great until we were almost finished consuming our tiramisu. I bit down on something so hard it almost broke my teeth. I opened my mouth & pulled out the object & noticed after careful observation that it was a piece of a chipped tooth. I had my husband inspect my mouth to make sure all of my teeth were intact, and sure enough, they were! I'm not sure how the tooth got in the dessert...buit I did call and speak to the manager on duty to confirm that they had made the tiramisu in house. She did say that they in fact make it daily in house. I used to recommend people to this place all the time...but never again will I do that. Who knows how that tooth got in there & what else is in their food. *yuck*

It was prom night and the food was amazing. We got in fast, and got out fast. The family size portions were huge, and we took A LOT of it home with us. The price for $30.00 and that much food, was great. We spent less than we would have at a restaurant with smaller portions. I would go there again anytime, and I enjoyed the Stuffed Chicken with Mashed potatoes, delicious !
I didn't like the bread though, and the floor was a bit slippery, maybe it was the heels . =D

Food was a microwaved lasagne. And only lukewarm. Service was distracted, even when we were directly responding to the waiters own questions. Check had phantom additions, which when challenged were removed, but our Credit Cards were still swiped for the original amounts. Neglecting to challenge TWICE, I just reduced the tip accordingly, leaving it at a still-generous 15%. Days later I found on my credit card statement that the waiter had taken the liberty of increasing his tip without my consent. That says it all really.

I went to an employee goodbye lunch where the food was shared family. style Horrible and pricey. I'd have done better staying home and opening Chef Boy-ar-Dee. However, a friend told me that the individual dining is much better. So avoid the family style dining experience!

My wife and I have been to Maggi's in Atlanta several times now. The location is very good and its not far from Lenox square mall. We always seem to go when theirs not a big line and we get in quickly. When staying at a hotel with a microwave in our room, I will get the full portion of spaghetti or chicken marsala and take the rest back to the hotel. The service is always good! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and portion sizes. We like Maggi's so much that we have eaten at the one in Nashville and its the same. This is a GREAT restaurant if you like Italian food!

I recently went to Maggiano's for PROM and it was DELICIOUS. The service was friendly and great and did I mention that was the BEST spinach artichoke dip I have ever tasted, the flavors were overwhelming. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone who wants GREAT Italian food. It was only two of us and we ordered family style, that way we got a taste of EVERYTHING, it was more expensive but you got a taste of everything that we wanted. It was an awesome experience. The service was good, and we got seated pretty quickly mainly because we made reservations. But go with an empty stomach, or with intentions of taking plenty home.

I've been hearing about Maggiano's forever! Finally, my boyfriend took me here to make it a memorable night. We shared a Caesar Salad which was amazingly good. Food portions are mighty big, even if they are half bowls. They will fill you up. Service was alright, and it was dark and noisy just like any other restaurant. The food here was delicious, but the rush for ordering such items was not necessary... (trying to get me and my boyfriend to buy the specials). Besides that it was an awesome experience.

My companion and I went to Maggiano's for the first time on a weeknight. The ambience was nothing memorable. The dining room is decorated to feel like a real Italian restaurant, and it was attractively furnished, but there were no details that stick out in my memory. It was very generic.
The seating was all too crowded for my comfort. I felt like I was sitting in my neighbor's booth the whole time. I could hear every word of her conversation, and she wasn't talking especially loudly.
The food was great! The have a huge family banquet menu posted on one wall, which I learned was sadly out of date. Still, the menu was impressive. Our server seemed like she was in a hurry to get us in and out. She explained that the portions were very large, and were we ready to order? She didn't try to sell us on any drinks or appetizers.
We both had side salads and pasta. I had the eggplant parmesan, which I liked. The eggplant was tender and rich, and it was smothered in a thick tomato sauce, which was a little sweet for my taste. Otherwise, delicious. My companion had cheese ravioli, which we both enjoyed. It was toasted on top, which gave it a nice buttery crust. I was looking forward to trying dessert, but our waitress just plopped the check down in front of us. When I asked what kind of sorbet they had, I was told they had none. Then she hurried away. I was disappointed, but I will give Maggiano's another try. Even though the ambience is a little stale, the dining room crowded and the waitstaff impatient, the food was really good!

Huge portions of average tasting food. VERY crowded seating. The pathway through the restaurant was so tight that we had to either pull in really close or dodge customers who were on the way to their seats or on their way to the restroom while we were eating our food. I wasn't impressed.

I love maggiano's! Nothing like good shopping and good eating. I love the fact that you can burn off calories by shopping at perimiter mall then treating yourself to very delicious large helpings of what I think might be the best italion in georgia. i highly recommend this to any and everyone, and don't be suprised if i'm not there. When you go just look for a long trail of shopping bags its probably me!!

I can't believe this place has any poor reviews. Of course, I often run into people in Atlanta who believe they know what makes up good Italian food while asking for mayonaise on their Italian sub...so, go figure.
This food here is definitely above average and the portions and variety (when you go family style) are great. I've been here about a dozen times, in various groups and settings, and have yet to have a bad experience. The servers have always been average to way above average and I've been very pleased.
