We leased a Tiguan from this dealership just over 3 years ago and they are the most professional dealership I have ever dealt with. We turned our lease in recently and having had the best experience from sales, service, and lease turn in that one could possibly have. They also have the cosiest waiting rooms!
Long story short, they charged me $300 for something that they didn't even do.
I went to the dealer because my check engine light was on and only the dealer could reprogram the issue. When I got there, they told me that my waste gate valve needed replacing, so they replaced it. When they were finished with that they told me that my whole turbo needed replacing. I decided to take it to a mechanic, because they were going to charge me $3,000. When I got to my mechanic he said that the waste gate valve had not been replaced. I called the dealer and they said they had forgotten, but they actually TOOK THE PART BACK OUT before they gave the car back to me, BUT STILL CHARGED ME FOR IT. If my mechanic was not honest, I probably never would have known. Although they refunded my money, I am still upset and will never be taking my vehicles back there, nor recommending it to anyone.

Our experience was as poor if not worse than ""stay away"". Drove 4 hours roundtrip for an appointment to see a car that ""Patrick"" said was available only to be told when i got there ""it was sold"". Patrick reacted with an ""oh well"". After weeks of high pressure phone calls we finally found another car we wanted. (2011 certified preowned) Drove another 4 hours round trip to purchase and pick up the car only to find the car had NOT detailed as promised, (trash, leaves and pineneedles in trunk was the highlight) a manufacturers recall service had not been done on the car, Patrick promised but failed to provided promised service history on car AND within 2 days of getting the car home, the warning service light started flashing. Four months later we bought a brand new Audi Q7 from another Audi dealership and had a fabulous experience. We got the impression that Jim Ellis goes after sales volume; how they treat you is immaterial since they don't expect to see you again. We were surprised since we'd had a great experience with this dealership in '09 when we brought another audi.
There is no chance we'd come back to JIm Ellis again.

We drove to Jim Ellis in Atlanta from Orlando after working out buying our new Audi over the phone. They have a great selection of inventory and we will never buy another Audi from another store. They delivered everything as promised and we highly recommend this dealership.

I know all the service reps and they are all awesome. I just love your dealership. I bought my car there. It's so easy and I never bring my car back for anything. (knock on wood) You have helped maintain a 10 year old car and I will always come back to you to keep it going. I love your product and your service. Girard was persistent and helped me get to the right number for both parties. I have had offers from Honda equivalent to what I got for the Jetta but I was holding out for the Jetta because that was more of my preference(actually my daughters preference). I could have had the Honda a few weeks earlier. This is the 4th vehicle that I have purchased/leased from the Jim Ellis dealership and I have been pleased with all of them. I also want to single out the finance person that I spoke with. I'm sorry that I don't have his name but he took the time to explain the numbers even though I was in a hurry, that did not deter him from doing a very good job with giving me with all the possible options open to me and providing me with the chance to go with either a lease or a purchase.--Enrique Trinidad

I really liked working with Jason. He did a great a job of explaining all the features of the car and he was very knowledgeable on everything the Jetta TDI had to offer. I actually enjoyed the process compared to the last time I bought a car from a different dealership. Mr. Ellis, Kenneth was wonderful to work with. He was intuitive about our wants and needs, and proactive. We were mentally prepared to buy, but you were our first VW dealership we went to, so we hadn't even looked around. The service was great, Kenneth was sincere and it just felt right. It was great to have the available computer to obtain insurance for the car on the spot. I honestly drove off with a big smile on my face. Zero buyer's remorse. I am very pleased with the effort by your service staff to rectify the problem with my 2008 EOS. Wind noise through the drivers side window has been an ongoing irritation since I first purchased the vehicle. You had looked at it twice before and made an improvement but it still persisted. I brought it in most recen3tly to get it fixed ""for good."" You kept the car for over 2 weeks but its fixed! I especially appreciate being provided a loaner vehicle during the repairs. When it's time to replace the EOS, I will remember this fine customer service and will try to stay in the Jim Ellis family. Thanks to Lisa and the service staff for their hard work and follow-up.
