This is one of my FAVORITE BBQ PLACES IN ATLANTA. The only reason why I'm knocking down a star is because the WAIT is ridiculous sometimes and very limited parking, but the FOOD IS FIVE STARS. I'm all about this life from the meat (rubs, brisket - lawd have mercy), to the sides (mac n cheese, brunswick stew), to the sauces....you can't go wrong. You must go here and you won't be disappointed.
Fox Brothers is by far my favorite BBQ joint in Atlanta. I always say if you can't smell the BBQ before you walk in its not real BBQ. You can literally smell the grill as you're passing the restaurant! I highly recommend the frito pie and the baked beans and pulled pork are a must. The white BBQ sauce should be used on the chicken and the banana pudding is the best option for dessert. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare so be prepared for that.
Great barbecue -- ribs, pork, and lots of appetizer choices. Has a cult following in Atlanta. Don't let the out of the way location and rundown appearance fool you... oh, wait, it's a barbecue joint, it's supposed to look like that!
Great food and great service. Well worth the wait. Texas fries are my fav appetizer & their ribs are brisket are bar none the best in Atlanta.
Beat pulled pork in the city! Deliciously smoked with a yummy dry rub. The make our BBQ & Blues event a success every year!
Excellent BBQ, ribs, and fried okra! Baked beans are a bit sweet for me. The smoked turkey with white sauce is magical and only available on a Sundays. The wait can be longer than an hour on Sundays or during great patio weather.

Look to Fox Bros. for great barbecue as well as innovative and creative ideas that are delish! Try their ""Burger"" - proof positive that there can never be too much of a good thing. Heaven on a bun! Ribs are great. Brisket is divine - Texas approved. Lots of tasty sides, all with that Fox Bros. touch. Desserts are homemade and luscious!

I read a lot about the place and took a road trip hoping for something good but soon realized why Atlanta is not known for its BBQ. I like me meat pink but not my pig. The only place I have ever been to that messed up Mac and Cheese, cold slaw and sweet tea. My wife thought there was no way to mess up banana pudding but they found a way. I bet the booze is ok but other than that I would suggest going somewhere else. If its the best in the area I would hate to see their worst place.

I used Fox Bros to cater my rehearsal dinner because we love their food and wanted to do something casual. Our delivery time was set for 6:45, at 7:15 we called and were told the van was 10 mins away. At 7:40 we called again and learned that they LIED to us earlier and had in fact LOST our order!!! Finally our food arrived after almost 2 hours of 50 hungry people standing around waiting, and we didn't even get some of the sides we ordered because they didn't have them available. I would never suggest using this company for any food you are depending on for a party of any kind.

Chopped brisket fully integrated with bits of flavor-bomb fat, gut-brick chili-cheese tots, hulking bricks of butter-slathered jalepeno cornbread and spicy collards are on many southerners ideal menu. Fortunately for Atlantans, Fox Bros does each of these very well, along with the rest of the Texas-influenced offerings of smoked-out cue. Melt-in-your-mouth could work as an adjective for 90 percent of the menu you wash down with a Lone Star or Sweetwater 420. Inside you'll find typical accoutrement generally uniform of a southern-shack-style meat joint. Old pictures, awards, beer signs etc. adorn the walls though the outdoor patio offers the welcome scent from the meat smoker posted up just feet away. The parking lot can fill up so park along the neighborhood side street if you need a place to park your pickup.

Fox Bros BBQ quickly became an ATL staple. How could it not be, a creative yet ""meat & potatoes"" menu, quick service and a family owned vibe has made this BBQ joint one of the best places to chow down in the city!
The spicy BBQ wings are meaty, juicy and with just the right kick that guarantees drive any wing-nut insane. the ribs will satisfy the Fred Flintstone in you - and the oh-so-creamy mac & cheese will make you wonder why you never had it so good growing up.
We enjoy the food and fun atmosphere at Fox Bros, but the parking situation keeps us from going there often! Usually we park on the adjacent side street, but sometimes that can mean a 4-5 block walk. When the weather is good, no big deal. But when it is hot or cold or wet (80% of the time in the ATL it is one of these three) then we won't be heading to Inman Park for BBQ.

Probably won't go back. Brought visitors from Illinois and was disappointed. Fried mac was bland ---- well, about everything on the sides was bland. Cold slaw and Pickles were good but who can mess-up a pickle? Ribs were way too charred (smoked) and had alot of fat. Okra was dry. Bloody Mary was too hot. Brisket was okay. Beer was cold. Sorry guys. Maybe this is just Texas style and I'm not used to it.......

This is one of the better bbq joints in town if you like texas style BBQ. I haven't had a bad meal yet. Good ribs, sandwiches, chicken, stew. etc. Try the Beef short ribs that they have on Thursdays. They gave me so much i literally ate them for 3 days. Good sides include collards, mac n cheeze and hey, they have tots. Can't go wrong there. My only complaint is that they can be a little heavy handed with the rub.

My family was having a bar-b-que attack and the family grill master was unable to heat up the grill Sunday so we decided to look for a bar-b-que restaurant close to Decatur. We found Fox Bros. on Citysearch and decided we would give it a try. My daughter had passed it several times and said it was always crowded so we thought it was worth the visit. When we arrived, it had just stopped raining so the outside patio was empty and the joint inside was jumping and crowded. We were told we could wait for a seat which we decided not to do and the table and chairs were immediately dried off for us to sit. We sat down for, what we soon discovered, was to be some of the best bar-b-que we have had in a long time. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer; they came out quickly and were very good and hot. The grill master ordered a pitcher of beer and that's when the eating began. My husband, aka grill master, ordered the bc plate with collards, mac & cheese and guess what, he fell in love. He said the bar-b-que was delicious, he even liked the sauce, he usually likes the vinegary sauce. There was so much food on his plate he had to take home a to go box. My daughter had the smoked chicken wings (no pork) & baked beans, I , on the other hand, had the 1/2 baby back ribs with cole slaw & baked beans. Let me tell you the baked beans were the best but I have to say all the food was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that really enjoys bar-b-q, cooked on a grill with hickory chips(the grill master informed me that was the only way to cook ribs). The atmosphere was fun with blues playing in the background (Sirius Radio). We are going back next weekend and taking my brother this time, aka best bar-b-q chicken grillmaster. Thanks guys, it was fun and delicious & Calloway, our server was pleasant & courteous as well.
