General Info
The museum features a display on the history of money; interactive, multimedia exhibits explaining the Federal Reserve's role in the economy; and a view of the bank's automated vault and cash processing areas. In addition, most group tours include a stop in the bank's boardroom. A tour of the museum provides in-depth lessons on the role of the Federal Reserve in the U.S. economy. Then, you can take a look inside our cash-processing operations, where millions of dollars are counted, sorted, or shredded daily. You'll also get a glimpse into the bank's automated vault and see the robotic transports that do the heavy lifting.

Want to see and learn about the history of money this is the place to go. Lots of cool stuff to see. You even leave with a bag of shredded money as a souvenir!

Not Just For Tourists & No Money Required!

Many people that live in Atlanta, and especially in Midtown, have now idea about what the stately marble building is at 10th & Peachtree. Flanked by old columns from the original Federal Reserve Bank on Marietta St., this oasis sits proudly on a neatly manicured lawn. If you live here, get that cup of Starbucks, and see what you can for free. See cash and learn something about the Fed's role in it's monetary policy, banking supervision and the payment system. Again, no charge, and walk-ins are welcomed also.
