I have dined in a lot of authentic and some not so authentic Cajun establishments and this is by far the worst ever. The service,if you can call it that, was horrible and the food tasted very much like frozen straight from the microwave. The owners are attempting to emulate a classy establishment, but class can not be emulated it must be real. I would never go back.

went with my lady to the Cajun Crab-house for her friend birthday. All I stay was wwwwoooooowwwwww that had to be the worst service I ever experience. When I first arrived I was very impress with the decor and the house music. But this is where the compliments stop! When we (8 of us) order our drinks it took about a hour to get them (hey hey my lady love the Bob Marley drink). When we finally received our drinks the waiter told us that they was out of crab cakes. So after some of us change our meal selections and place our orders. He return one hours later said that he was out of shrimp, salmon and craws-fish (two hours after we had been seated). So after one of the party guess and I confront the manager he stated that he was aware. We told him we wasn't paying for our drinks and we will never come back. Lucky we was able to catch Red Lobster before they close.
I was so embarrassed for her, that was the worst service ever. I try to give my hard earn money to black man but for my birthday I going to Twist or Strips

The service was the worst ever.... I made reservations over 3 wks ago for a birthday for myself. I invited 12-15 people out to celebrate with me. We arrived and placed our orders. After waiting 40-45 minuites for our food. The waiter came out and stated to one of my guest that they were out of shrimp, crab and salmon. All of what we ordered. They basically ran out of food. I questioned the waiter about when did he find out that they were out of food. He stated he was just informed. We had now been waiting 45mins. Once we ran down a manager. He stated he had just arrived 2 hrs ago and knew nothing about what was going on.. but was going to check. He never returned. I now have 15 people here, some who traveled miles to eat with me. At a resturant with no food. By this time, its 10:30 at night. And luckly the manger at Red Lobster was able to let us in and allow us to eat. They close at 11pm. I WILL NEVER GO BACK..

I have visited this location 3 times and have had 3 separate, yet great experiences. I've tried 3 different entrees on the menu and was pleased with all.
I read a few reviews prior to writing this one and was shocked by other's experiences.
Regarding pricing: I have paid more a TGI Friday's with less quality.
Food: I invited a friend out and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food
Service: Sharon the bartender and jasmine the server were excellent. The entire feeling was comfortable.
The music: One could request to sit up stairs away from the music, if it was too loud for that individual. I found the Jazz to be an added bonus to the evening.
As I think more about this, I believe that some are looking for Fine Dinning with burger king prices in a Cajan Crab House...
This Place is Awesome!!!!! Please go check it out!

I met a few friends here on yesterday for a book club meeting. None of us had ever been here, but wanted to try something new. MISTAKE! We should have stuck with our original plan....Copelands!
The food was undercooked and severely overpriced. I tried the shrimp Jambalaya. It was crunchy (undercooked rice), bland, and had exactly two and one fourth shrimp in it. Not to mention, the shrimp were the tiny salad shrimp. I simply ate the sausage and left the rest of the crunchy rice on the plate. To be honest, I was certain that the Jambalaya was Zatarain's. Actually, Zatarain's is a little better as it actually has more flavor. Their Jambalaya is more appropriate for a fast food restaurant such as Popeyes. Not a restaurant which claims that they specialize in New Orleans cuisine. I also requested bread. It was not good either and was cold. I didn't get sick (thank God..as mentioned in other reviews), but the experience left much to be desired. The live music was acceptable and the restaurant itself was decorative and looked nice. However, the food is extremely overpriced for the quality.

I went here with my wife and children for my son's graduation party. The staff were passive aggressive, bordering on racist. The food was overpriced and undercooked. I see I'm not the only person to write a review to the same effect. I also was sick for 2 days with whatever bacteria was not killed by the cooking process. Maybe this place should be re-inspected. The music was almost decent, but more often annoyingly loud, obtrusive, and distracting. If that's what they are calling jazz, it's no wonder everything else about the place is sub-par. Will not be going back, and will warn all my friends.
