We went on a Wed. night for the comedy show. We arrived around 930 It was packed when we arrived, except for the side are when you first walk in. You can barely see the stage because of the dumb stupid wall that is up.The comedians where great maybe 1 or 2 stunk but hey the are just getting starting out. The food was the great!!!! The drink where on point also. i had the baby basket (4 mini Burgers) and sweet potatoe french fries ..yummy! Oh and J. Holiday came through...soooo swaggalish (if that's a word..lol)
Cons: The bad is the spot is small and that dang brick wall on the right when you walk in!
Pros: Great food and drinks. Waiters are pretty nice. Decent prices. Atmosphere is okay (bar) with a stage and a few tables.
Overall i would go back with my husband or my girlfriends. I would love to see what its like on the weekend ( of course i would arrive early!)

255 in Castleberry Hills is the best place for Monday night football. Its a good atmosphere to chill and relax. People actually go to watch football and not just to hookup. The baby turkey burgers is my #1 choice on the menu. The beer is on tap and it's plenty of mixed drinks to choose from. Oh yeah, the cabanas on the back patio is the spot especially when I want to step out with my lady or chill with my boys. I enjoyed watchin' the Dolphins drill the Jets last night!!

I go to 255 often and can always expect a good time. The drinks and food is always good. I love the baby angus burgers and the wings. The patio is the spot to be especially on a Saturday night. The dj is always live and plays the best hits from the old to the new!!! Keep doin your thing...

Are you ready for some Football!!! Monday Night Football
hasn't been the same since last Monday at 255 Tapas Lounge. The beer is on tap and and food is ""BANGIN"". Oh man, the back patio atmosphere is so fierce..... It has become my favorite spot to chill and kick back to watch the game. I love the way management walks around and makes sure everything is in place. Not only is the waitress nice, but their also beautiful..The Angus signature baby burgers are my favorite.......

Me and my boyfriend went to 255 for the first time about a month ago at around 130 am on a Saturday. One of the only reasons at the time was the fact that their kitchen was STILL open. That was the first thing that won me over.
When we arrived, there was no seating so we thought it was a wrap. However, more than one server was eager to assist us. When we finally decided that we were going to order something to go, the server informed us that she would take our order and keep an eye open for a table. As soon as one did, she sat us down and we then waited for our food. Although it took extremely long and my boyfriend became agitated, the manager, Don made us feel so at home and relieved our negativity with his exceptional hospitality. He was extremely understanding and not 2 mention gave us a round of shots just because he was apologetic for the wait.
I have been back to 255 at least once a week since that day.
I guess you kinda can say it has become one of my favorites. I like the atmosphere and the staff and I DEFINITELY LOOOOOVE THE FOOOOD!!!!!

I don't get this place. I should have looked at the menu before dining here. The menu is full of bar food, not tapas. After having lived in Barcelona, I had higher expectations. This place is more of a bar with food to soak up the alcohol. The music is too loud and it is way too crowded. I'll pass.

I visited the lounge on a Friday around 5:30pm with a friend. First, we thought the decor was excellent and layout was done very well. The venue definitely keeps in line with the Castleberry Hills ""loft"" ambience. We ordered several items from the tapas menu and everything tasted ""great"". The server was friendly and attentive. We made it there before the evening crowd arrived, but we enjoyed it and will definitely return. Bathroom gets 2 thumbs up! Great potent cocktails as well.

This place definitely was a pleasant surprise. After eating greasy foods and watered down drinks served by the other bars in the areas, it was a relief to have my taste buds craving for more. I absolutely love the frosted drinks they serve, especially on a hot day. The pina-colada is my absolute favorite, and even more enjoyable while sitting on the deck enjoying the serenity of their fountain. As far as the menu, I love their coconut shrimp and I am a big fan the infamous ""lord of the rings"" burger (which I usually get in Turkey). The food is fulfilling and very inexpensive.
I am very much a fan of the management, who has always made me feel very welcome. I have brought friends by and we all have a great time, including dates. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area for a quick getaway or are looking to meet cool new people while out for the evening.

I've been attempting to contact one of the ""so-called"" managers for a party but to no avail. I can't believe that these people run a business but are unavailable to take calls. I was given cards from two different managers and told to call anytime I was ready and I've called them both on their cell phones and at their venue only to get a full voicemail or a ringing phone with no answering service. I can't imagine these people are able to run a successful business this way. I can't imagine they'll be in business very long if they can't make sure people are able to get through to them. On top of all that, I was skeptical to even use the venue for my party, I've been there a few times and although the food is good, the service so-so the place seems to be more of a fake club than a bar lounge. The music is often times way too loud for a bar/lounge atmosphere. If I'm going to a bar/lounge I want to be able to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere and have conversation. The few times I've been there I can barely hear my friend next to be talking. We had to scream over the music and the other people who were screaming over the music just to hear ourselves. These people seem confused and I would warn anyone who'd think of having an event there to visit them a few times first.

The atmosphere was fine. The server was nice. But the food is definitely not tapas. The food wasn?t bad per se, it just wasn?t tapas. Mini burgers, calamari, fries, deep fried anything you can think of. That is not tapas, it?s bar food. Had I been drinking I would have been very happy to be eating fish nuggets and sweet potato fries, but since I had broken my diet for the day I was quite disappointed.
If you are hanging out in Castleberry and want to grab a drink and bite to eat before going out for the night, then it's cool. However, if you are looking for a good tapas restaurant I suggest you head to one of the spots in midtown or VaHi for something more latin inspired.
I had the pleasure of dining at the 255 tapas lounge where the food was excellent and the service was great. The menu was simple to read and loaded with lots of delicious choices one could hardly just order one thing. I think to give this experience a 4 star would be an understatement I would definitely give it 5 stars. I'm glad to welcome such a wonderful restaurant to the Castle berry Hill area!
Another restaurant/lounge opened up in Castleberry Hill and I finally got a chance to check it out last night.. I'm pretty weary of new things coming up in my neighborhood, since its becoming quite a hot spot. Upon arriving, I was impressed! They really changed up the space with a fantastic bar and a very hot patio in the back. The patio even had little cabana areas with individual TVs!
David, Torrie, Robert and I decided to sit at the bar. It was a nice mixed crowd and everyone looked like they were having a good time. I was excited to see that they had alcoholic slushie drinks like the Strawberry Daiquiri and Blue Martini! Of course, I had to get the Strawberry Daiquiri...I mean its the summer and its a good drink to cool off. (OK, OK...and its fruity and weak too...ha) They do have a good selection of beer and alcohol. No cheap beer here..Sweetwater, Blue Moon, Stella, etc... They also have a good selection of wines...from what Torrie said they offer a German wine that she has only seen in Germany and at hi-end liquor stores.
The menu looked good. Lots of tapas to select from and mini burgers! Carrie was right...they have probably the most unique mini burgers out there....turkey, vegetable, crab, Angus, chicken, etc... Since we already ate dinner, we asked if they could make us a fries sampler basket with Sweet Potato, Regular, and Garlic Fries. It was really good...actually amazingly good!
I would definitely go back...the staff was very nice and I am eager on trying out the food. I hope the diverse crowd continues and that this place stays a restaurant/lounge and not a bar/club. It looks like its going to be a great addition to the Castleberry Hill Neighborhood.
