The wait was long, but well worth it. The girls working the reception area were nice. Our server was absolutely the best, very helpful and patient. The food was outstanding.
Overall a good restaurant. I think the portion sizes could be a bit bigger as I ordered shrimp scampi pasta and I didn't have much noodles. The serv…
Spent a birthday wknd in Atlanta with 5 of my close friends/sisters. We were told this place had great food by our hotel concierge. The food was good....but that was the ONLY thing we somewhat enjoyed. Service was HORRIBLE with the exception of the young man who filled our waters and served our cocktails, Kevin.Cocktails took forever and then came to the table wrong....TWICE.From the time we ordered our entrees to the time they hit our table was an HOUR! (I know this b/c I had been texting while we were ordering and, once we grew tired of waiting, I kept track of when we were finally served.)I had to call our server to our table several times for several issue....each time I was polite and we were patient....probably TOO patient...and his responses were always rude! Once he saw us signaling for a manager to come over, he came right to our table, asked if we needed anything and the, when I went to answer him, he rudely interrupted and then talked over me as if he were annoyed that we were disappointed that our drinks & meals had not been served promptly and our orders were incorrect. Never once did he offer any kind of apology. We did finally speak to a manager and he offered a round of drinks for the table.....and those took another 20 minutes to arrive. (not exaggerating....it became a bit of a "not so funny joke" to see how long it would take to get anything we requested.)Finally, we simply asked for our check and even that took another 30 minutes! It was a 3 hour experience I will not soon forget. The food we did get tasted good.....but the night wore on so long that we were practically begging to pay our bill and leave. Will not be returning. No "good" food is worth being treated the way we were or wasting 3hrs of my life. I found myself apologizing to my guests out of embarrassment.I should note that I noticed the manager being called over to 2 other tables in our area of the restaurant. Long night for them, I'm sure.
pretty good steakhouse..they cook your steak to perfection no matter how you ask for it which is rare..all in all good food..decent service
I love everything about STK! The food, the atmosphere, the service -- it is all great here! Obviously, you can't go wrong with the steak at this midtown steakhouse. During the summer, try the 8-oz prime ribeye cap, one of the richest, rarest and most prized cuts of steak. It’s served with a green garlic butter sauce and pickled mushrooms (more details about it here: http://bit.ly/1TYMlrP). The menu changes seasonally throughout the year, but you can count on consistently good food every time you visit. Seafood is great at STK as well (love the seared scallops and the yellowfin tuna). Plus, there's always a great event going on in the bar area -- perfect for mingling and/or people watching.
Great steakhouse in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area! Fantastic atmosphere -- it's a white table cloth restaurant, but it feels very warm and welcoming. The wine list is very impressive! And the food is outstanding. You can taste how fresh each ingredient is! Obviously, steak is a must order here, and they have plenty of options to satisfy whatever you're in the mood for. The seafood selections are also worth noting, and the appetizers will blow you away! The carpaccio is incredible, and the classic wedge salad at Maya comes with candied bacon -- very tasty! Not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but we went here the other night and were pleased with our experience. The servers were very friendly and super quick. The steaks were good and were cooked exactly how we asked for. Husband got the lobster along with his steak and said it was prepared nicely. Good deal ($30) for a decent steak and lobster dinner. Overall good experience.
O-M-G stands for "Oh Marcel Goodness". This place is awesome. The restaurant gave off such a dark, smooth, sexy vibe as soon as I stepped through the door...and I was loving it. I knew if the food tasted as good as this place looked, I'd be a fan. Thankfully, our meal was great. Service was impeccable. There were several members of the wait staff that stopped to check on things, without being annoying. Everyone was very friendly. The whole experience here was everything. This restaurant named after a French boxer is a TKO.
So I have to give myself props for choosing STK's 3rd anniversary party as the night of my first visit to the restaurant. I got to have an even better experience because it was party time!It was a bit louder than I'm sure it usually is. But it didn't take away from much overall. The DJ was really good. As for the food....OMG it was awesome! The bread that was brought out before our meals was tasty. I ordered the Skirt Steak with Crab Oscar (loved it) along with the Broccolini (so so good). Now, every time I see broccolini on a menu somewhere, I have to try it to see if it tastes the same. We also had Raspberry Mama shots and I had a Strawberry Cobbler (my drink was missing the graham cracker crusted rim for some reason, though). And because it was STK's anniversary, we received a free small bottle of Veuve Clicquot with souvenir glasses. Cheers!I'll be back for sure--whether it's to celebrate each anniversary, or I just want to enjoy an excellent meal and celebrate life.
I've been to hundred of restaurants.. Usually the super expensive ones are just for show.. It's not often that you find one where the food is actually delicious.. Everything about Morton's is top notch.. The menu is impeccable and the cocktails are amazing... Be sure to try the Ciroc Sangria... I can't wait to go back...
The Best Steakhouse in Atlanta. Awesome steaks, great Salmon, Great chicken! The Outlaw Ribeye is my favorite!!
