I would like to take this opportunity to express my satisfaction with Heritage Property Management. Since October of last year I have lived on beautiful little Lake Venesia just off of March Lane in Stockton. The condominiums around this little lake were built in 1984 and are as cute as bug’s ears. They are all due for a little TLC which Debbie Hamer and her staff at Heritage Property Management are attending to systematically. I love this little place. They just don’t build ’m like this any more folks. So far I have found Debbie and everyone at HPM just great to work with they have attended to repairs in a timely manner, with courtesy and professionalism. Living with a lake in your immediate back yard is awesome and I am spoiled for life. However when you live with such a great view it means you have no fences between properties to spoil that view it also means that certain accommodations and considerations need to be made with regard to your neighbors. People back east have been doing this for years (non fenced back yards). We all share this wonderful view with no boundaries but it requires a little extra effort not to infringe upon your neighbors privacy. The area bordering the lake and behind the condominiums is not public property and as a such it is not the appropriate place to pitch a tent or set up a bounce house castle (15’X15’X19’) squeezed between two trees and breaking their branches, there just isn’t the room for it. It is amazing to me that anyone would need to be told this.
I am one of those unfortunate owners who purchased a condo in the height of the real estate boom. Now with the way the economy is, I will be here for a while. When I purchased my unit, my building was being managed by another management company that did not care about us as owners, they couldn't account for funds and come to find out, there was an extremely high delinquency rate. Once Heritage Property Management stepped in and started managing, that all changed. The manager was able to change the morale of all of us who were feeling ""stuck"" because of the economy. Through a series of steps the Property Manager turned the Homeowners Association around by really starting to collect on past due fees. In a matter of two and a half years, the Association went from having no money to having over $100k in a reserve account to plan for the future. All while reducing the number of delinquent owners to less than 5% from 80% where it was in the beginning. Every person that I have spoken with at Heritage has been professional and courteous. Any type of question I ask them, they quickly have an answer and a resolution, if needed. I find comfort in knowing that if there is a problem, all I have to do is call and I am going to get someone on the phone and the problem will be handled. Based on my experience with them, I would highly recommend Heritage to anyone that asks. I'd recommend Heritage Property to any homeowner.
Sandy Decker filled in for Sharon Silver as our Portfolio Manager while Sharon had her back operation and recovered. I, and the entire board of Dunwoody Chace, want you to know how much we appreciated having Sandy step in and do a very good job for us. Sandy is very capable and a quick learner, taking over her new duties so we did not miss a beat, pitching right in so we had only to familiarize her with all our quirks and expectations. She demonstrated strong follow-up, interest in and caring for our community, and contributed to our board meetings with sound advice and ideas. She was pleasant and easy to work with – she establishes and maintains relationships quickly -- always with a smile on her face and in her voice, keeping an even keel at all times. She even walked the community in August with board members, recording follow-ups and taking care of them. So, thanks for assigning Sandy to help us as well as Sharon. I know she and Sharon talked frequently to assure we were taken care of properly and in a timely manner. Having Sharon as our Manager and then experiencing Sandy filling in confirm the wisdom of our decision to contract with Heritage for your services.
Have you ever been to a Brazilian steakhouse or a Chinese dim sum? Imagine both but with refined Southern food and if you haven't gone to either.....you're in for a treat. This was a very unique dining experience. I was NOT expecting cafeteria style seating with my date sitting on the opposite side of me and other patrons so close to me but I LOVED IT. I was so curious to see what others ordered and ask if we should order it as well. Gunshow serves amazing small dishes and the actually chef comes out and presents each course to you. The drinks are made table side. I did feel bad declining some dishes since it looks so yummy but after dish number 5 - I was stuffed. This by far is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta due to its creativity, amazing food, and ambiance. The menu is constantly changing with revolving chefs. I wouldn't recommend it for a first date, since it's quite loud and busy, but definitely worth it with friends, family, or if you're in a relationship. We parked on the street. :)
Saturday, September 26,2k9 I planned a surprise bday party for my boyfriend's 30th...however it was last minute and I didn't have reservations. I showed up at Dugans @ 9 and it was already standing room only. OMG!!! So I panic, not only is he on the way but the guest are starting to arrive as well...The manager seemed to hear my prayers because he came over and offered me a pick up table. It would seat 10. Perfect right? Not yet. He told me that I would have to share the table with other patrons. I told him about my situation and he told me I could have the whole table!!!! And when I realized more people had showed up, no problem, he offered us 2 more tables. Our server was Bobby "Blu" and he was polite, efficient, and very understanding under pressure. The deejay played all the right songs and we didn't leave the dance floor until we left the Bar. I would highly recommend this bar. Good spirits+good music=a dam good time. Needless to say, everything flowed as planned..THANKS DUGANS!!!
Just a note of thanks from my household to all of you. I am so thankful for all that you have been able to accomplish on behalf of our community. Things are looking so wonderful and every time I turn around something new and better is happening in our neighborhood. I have been meaning to write this email for months, I'm sorry it has taken me this long. In the years that I have lived here it is my opinion that this is the most productive HOA board assembled and I am thankful to all of you for your efforts. I also wanted to share that I continue to hear positive feedback one neighbor to another about the continued improvement of our neighborhood and how lovely things are looking. I am looking forward to a wonderful summer season and assisting in any way that I can to make that happen. Thank you all for the countless hours you spend while balancing everything else that you have on your plates it has not gone unnoticed I assure you!
Why am I just discovering this magical place?! My friend suggested we check it out for brunch, and I'm so glad that we did! I was worried we'd have a long wait since it was Sunday brunch time, but we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating, especially since we had the hardest time trying to decide what to order...everything sounded delish! For cocktails we tried the Strawberry Fields, The Devil Went Down to Georgia, and the Southern Hospitali-tea (we love boozy brunches, don't judge). We also tried the Sweet Potato Beignets...melted in our mouths! I ordered the lobster eggs benedict (awesome). My friend ordered the Foul Play, which is fried chicken & waffle w/ whiskey peach compote (also awesome, I snuck a few bites from her plate). We were so stoked to find Folk Art, and we can't wait to check out the rest of the menu. I'm seriously thinking about going back tomorrow...hey, I said don't judge me!
I was serviced by a clerk in the paint department named Mary on 07/12/08 in the Moorestown store. She was rude and did not service me. She took my paint and after i left the counter thinking she was mixing the tint, she walked away and never came back. I returned a few minutes later to retrieve my paint that I thought was ready only to find out she never started. Another clerk by the name ot Tom saved my experience and turned it into a great one. He started the job that Mary left and he stayed with me the entire time. He even made suggestions on other paint tint and colors and tools that i would need. He apologized for Mary's behavior and assured me that he would "take care of me". And that is exactly what he did. My mom and i were very pleased with his personal customer service and we talked about it even as we checked out at the register. Thank you Tommy for all of your help!! Ebony Williams
Mr. Cobb, I have been an owner at the Highlands for over 15 years, and have recently been voted onto the Board as VP. I want you to know that the addition of Nada London to our team has been a blessing.Nada is personable; she arrives on time and is always well prepared for our meetings. She brings great ideas to our attention, along with competitive pricing on services we are looking into. Through your well run organization, she is able to leverage contractors to get better pricing on our projects. As we finished our meeting this past Sunday she was ready to walk the property to get a first hand look at some of the improvements we are looking at doing. When she sets time lines and informs us that she will be getting back to us with information; she does it. Her follow up and detail is impeccable.Thank you for taking the time to read a few of the many qualities that we see in Nada London
Lee earned his wings this week. When he heard about the Boom lift, he suggested the light over B5, which has not been working for years and is difficult to access due to its position, be replaced as he would have access using the boom lift. Good thinking! It has now been done and the 11th Street has a flood light. Thanks, Lee! Lee also fixed the sprinkler thingamabob that went on the blink when whatever else went out. And, he watered the flowers the painter ripped out of the ground with their hoses. Thank You LEE. You are a GEM!! You, Paul, Lee, Morris and, of course Jan, make my work so much easier. Thank you so much. Now I just have to figure out how to program the sprinkler system for every other day instead of every day. Should be a breeze for someone as tech savvy as me? Tell Gavin, please, about what Lee has done for us. He is invaluable to me and our Association.
