I love Village Theater! It is one of the smaller and more intimate comedy theaters in Atlanta, but that's what makes it so great. Awesome comedians (there are a few regulars that are my favorites) and normally a great crowd. It's an improv theater, and they also teach improv classes that anyone can sign up for. You can purchase beer/wine and some snacks in the lobby before the show and at intermission - the alcohol is pretty cheaps, so load up! You can also purchase whole bottles and share with your group which is nice. Easy, free parking behind the theater as well!
Fun night. Guaranteed. We have been to 3 plays and all of them were awesome. The staff are great and welcoming. The actors are true talents. Great place for quality theatre at a more than reasonable price. Currently playing is The City of Conversation and trust me you will be having major conversations with people after this play.
The Fox Theatre is a beautiful theater with multiple balconies and a great ceiling. I've seen movies, concerts and plays here and recommend this venue for all of those. This is a piece of Atlanta history that you don't want to skip.
Fox Theatre is not only overflowing with history, but an exceptionally beautiful venue. It is by far our favorite indoor venue ever. There are no bad seats, the acoustics are wonderful and the "stars" in the sky are rather amazing.
A truly wonderful building. So many exciting shows are offered here. Go to their website and find the perfect performance for you.
I enjoyed the beauty of the building. There was a huge amount of seating which was comfortable. The popcorn was great.
Toxic Avenger was hilarious. Incredible cast of 5 had us laughing hysterically through all 40 characters they portrayed.
