We walked with our dog to have an ice cream on Tuesday December 27th at 7p and store was closed but no indication on their website or door. Prefer to stay local but very disappointed.
Obsessed with King of Pops. Love when I find a cart around the city- I always buy one on the spot. My favorite flavor/old faithful/go to flavor? Chocolate sea salt. These are my favorite Atlanta treat- I am eager to try a fruity pop-tail (cocktail w/ popsicle) next time I come into the actual location. My most recent encounter with King of Pops was at Music Midtown 2016. Perfect way to cool off from all the music and dancing! Yum!
Love Jeni's in Krog Street Market. There is ALWAYS a line- but it's totally worth the wait. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to ice cream- so I keep it pretty basic with their milk chocolate and vanilla bean.... but it is so creamy, fresh, and freeeeezing cold- I can't get enough! They have a ton of unique flavors for more daring eaters (churro and wild berry lavender for example), so if you're looking to try something new and exciting- this is your spot. Walking on the Beltline and need to cool off? Sipping and shopping around Krog Street? Just in the mood for some ice cream? Definitely make sure to stop by Jeni's for something sweet!
I had the opportunity to try one of these favorite pops this September at Decatur Book Festival. It was so good with real fruit chunks. Perfect blend of sweetness.
Just found this location near me. Really great deal on Monday's $5 for a 32oz ( I love a good deal ).
Delicious! I took my brother here when he was visiting from out of town. I got a coconut based ice cream and it was amazing! My brother got a milk shake and he was very happy with it and said he would like to go again when he visits!
Delicious! This was the perfect evening snack. Troy was super helpful in explaining our options (not everything was listed since they just opened). I got a waffle bowl! Never seen it before but it was a great addition to the yummy ice cream. Good number of flavors plus Italian ice. We also got a milkshake, traditional vanilla with chocolate syrup that hit the spot!
Jake's is conveniently located by the at the end of the Eastside Beltline Trail. My girlfriend and I stopped by Jake's on a Wednesday around noon after we walked the beltline. I tried their Captain Crunch Oops All Berries Bar and it was the best decision I made all week. The crunch berries were perfectly stuck together with a little bit of marshmallow and vanilla and it was on point!! We were also lucky to have the café all to ourselves with zero lines and wait time!
The lines a were long here but it's understandable why. The ice cream is amazing and the cute building is perfect for IG photo opps. Love this spot.
This shop sells both ice cream and coffee. We ordered two iced lattes, a scoop of “Banana Puddin'” ice cream, and a scoop of “Butterscotch Brownie”. The coffee went really well the ice cream and is actually made by Revelator Coffee. The Butterscotch Brownie definitely tasted like butterscotch and was great but if I could make one change to it, I would add more brownie bits. The banana puddin flavor tasted exactly like banana pudding and was amazing. We are definitely going back for the guava cheesecake flavor because they had run out when we got there.
