I always come here when I'm in Atlanta, I dont care if I'm just stopping for a few hours. This place has Great seafood, the Calamari & the Deluxe Seafood Platter are my go to, very cool wait staff, & very reasonable prices. We usually try to get there by 1500-1630, especially on Friday & Saturday, Sunday about 1200-1330, it gets packed quickly. It's an automatic gratuity added in for a party of 5 or more. Keep a look out, you might spot a Celebrity or 2 dinning there!
I attended a birthday dinner tonight and was greatly disappointed in this 'so called' restaurant. It is poorly management with incompetent managers and staff. The food was poorly prepared and took forever to serve. When it came time to pay the bill, the waiter got so confused, he didn't have a clue to what he was doing and didn't know who paid and who did not. If you want to dine at a 'real', well run, restaurant, do yourself a favor, and go to the 'Juke Joint' in downtown Atlanta. It ten times better than this place. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know and will make sure people hear about my experience.
I found it to be too congested with tables and chairs. They were so close the customers and staff could barely move around. The food was sooo BLAND. NO seasoning on anything. The worst fried rice ever. It was sticky and mushy. Spinach and greenbeans undercooked. We were the first groups to be seated and they ran out of vegetables???. Service was slow and repetitive. Big waste of time and money.
I came for my birthday celebration with 7 of my friends. After dinner we all recieved our check. I was charged a $25 dollar fee for the cupcakes that were given to me as a gift. The waitress was nice, however, encouraged us to give her the cupcakes so that she could make them look special. There was no time during my interaction with this facility that a 25 dollar fee was mentioned for bringing your own birthday treats. Not online, not when I spoke with the reservation desk or by my waitress. In talking with the manager, she offered no resolution and stated policy at other restaurants in the area. Theye took a good night and ended it on a sour note. Thanks for the birthday gift sweet auburn seafood. I will never come back. You could benefit from customer service 101.
This is a great place with good food. I was looking for some fried catfish and I was told about this place. One of the things that I find amazing about them is that they will create what you want. You can ask for one piece of fish fried and they will make it. They also offer it grilled. I also find a great deal on on-tail. You must try the hush puppies because they're amazing. I'm from Florida so the fact that they will cook your blue crabs is hot! This is a seafood place to try.
I love this place , Red Lobster offers the best in Sea Food trust me, from fried fish, lobsters, shrimps, to Soups and pastas.. all their food seem to have great seasoning not to much of anything. thats why i love coming to eat here.. thanks alot Red Lobster for the Great Restaurant...
1st and last visit to this restaurant the bartender was very rude and unprofessional she really need to work on customer service skills.
Excellent food, but pretty $$$ for the portions you get. The fish options, which come a la carte, are only about 4 oz, but are priced like an 8-oz cut would be at most seafood restaurants. With that said, the oysters are the best I've ever had in Atlanta! And the honey crab claws are worth every penny (even though you only get a couple per serving).
Lunch here was delightful. The smoked white fish chowder was served hot and with oyster crackers. I enjoyed it until the trout with peas, cippolini, pancetta, and oyster mushrooms arrived. The fish was fresh and perfectly seasoned. And I indulged in a bit of dessert--the strawberry sundae.I lingered in the restaurant until after they closed to prepare for dinner, and no one rushed me out of there. My server (oh, I wish I remembered her name!) was such a sweetheart and super helpful. Can't wait to come back here for dinner.
Came here for a midweek dinner with some colleagues, and it did not disappoint!I had the shrimp cocktail appetizer. The shrimp were plump and fresh, and the cocktail sauce was flavorful. For my entree, I had broiled Bali Barramundi. Never heard of this before, but I was feeling adventurous. I topped it was the jumbo lump crab oscar. Once again, the seafood was fresh. The staff was extremely attentive. When I got up to freshen up in the powder room, they came and cleaned the very few crumbs that were on the table and re-folded my napkin for me. Dessert was the Crème Brûlée, and I enjoyed it as well. The server suggested the Dr. Loosen Blue Plate Riesling, and it was divine. And to top things off--We asked the hostess to call a cab for us, and she got us black car service instead. Granted, it was a few more dollars more. But it was like the perfect end to a great evening. All in all, I had a wonderful experience and will certainly be back.
