Furniture: Ikea has great styles for their furniture at great prices. All the furniture comes in rectangular boxes that you take home and follow the instructions to assemble. The furniture has lasted us for many years, through multiple moves. It's not the sturdiest or longest lasting furniture around, but it is durable enough and the prices are amazing. Food: The swedish meatballs are amazing and worth the trip alone. The frozen yogurt is the best vanilla froyo i've tasted anywhere and the cinnamon rolls are a family favorite as well. Try the ligonberry sauce if you get the meatballs. Atmosphere: The upper level of the store has all of the furniture laid out into rooms and 'living spaces' of various sizes. They show you how you could live in 200sq ft and some other small size areas. Most of the furniture comes in 1+ of 3-4 shades, so it's easy to mix and match furniture. There is also a great kids area where kids can play on some of the toys they sell. If you want to shop without your kids, they do have a babysitting area that looks like fun for the kids if they are tall enough and potty trained. Downstairs has a bunch of non-furniture stuff like great curtains, rugs, kitchen and bathroom stuff, dishes and glasses, etc etc. Then there is the self-service warehouse where you pick up your furniture and check-out. Don't miss the $3 umbrellas (they are huge) in the check-out line!
Oh IKEA..you've saved me on many days when it was cold outside and needed somewhere to take my young son to play. I've bought furniture from IKEA more than a decade ago but will only do so for maybe a playroom...I do like their duvet covers since they are reasonably priced. Its one of the few places that I can find a king sized duvet for under $50. The restaurant is OK and pretty cheap to grab lunch. Where else can two people eat for less than $10? Avoid the weekends if you can since it is packed!! Anytime of the day during the week it is practically empty so I would suggest even going after work if you can make it during the day.
Ikea lays it all out on the table. You know what you're getting even if it is inexpensive but decent quality furniture. Throw out that old, crappy particle board entertainment center and upgrade it at Ikea without breaking the bank. This store is a sensory overload of useful items on the cheap without being "cheap." Throw in a great cafeteria with a Scandavian slant, wonderful frozen yogurt and cinnamon buns that you just can't pass up and you can spend a whole day here (and many do!). If in Atlanta, don't miss Ikea.
I love coming to Ikea for lunch - decent prices, cute accessories for your home. Cheap good strong furniture does exist, to my great surprise! I got a large metal clothes rack when my closet filled up. Plastic versions had all collapsed under the weight of 20 jeans and ~40 t shirts, but the Ikea rack is super sturdy, yay! My Ikea kitchenware (pots, baskets, silverware, rugs) are also holding up great after 6 years.
As a customer of praise & worship world of product.I have find there customer service to be out standing. And they do stand behind all there merchandise. And it is a very trust worthy company, honest and dependable.and delivery your merchandise in a reasonable amount of time.between 7 to 14 days of business.
IKEA YASS! Of course this place is amazing! The best part is you can buy a huge piece of furniture and still fit the box in a small car since you assemble everything at home. Beware of the crowds on weekends (especially around the start of the school year)
This is a very cool furniture and house wares store in West Midtown. I have found some very cool accessories for my house here and it has been a great place to find gifts for my friends who seem to already have everything. Great holiday ornaments too!
Need that perfect gift? Stop in here and you will be sure to find it. The sales people are always good at listening to you and what your needs are. I just love it here. Plus I always find something for myself. I recommend BD Jeffries highly.
Ikea is your go to for cheap bites and great decorating finds. If you're looking for specific items, know what you need before you go or else it may take you a while to find someone who can help. Once you do, they're very helpful and kind.
Great experience custom ordering a sofa and chair, as well as two rugs. Wide selection of contemporary yet comfortable furniture and accents. Lots of help scheduling a weekend delivery that worked with our schedules!
