My car was broken into today. They have no cameras in parking garage. Only in entry exit lanes. They do not cover the isles. Security guy said they been having break ins constantly. They offered no apologies for lack of security and said happy holidays. Worst experience ever had there. I will tell everyone I know about their poor security and if they don’t have an insurance policy to cover damages and loss you’ll here from me again. A lady’s car was stolen from the garage at same time. Beware!!
Furniture:Ikea has great styles for their furniture at great prices. All the furniture comes in rectangular boxes that you take home and follow the instructions to assemble. The furniture has lasted us for many years, through multiple moves. It's not the sturdiest or longest lasting furniture around, but it is durable enough and the prices are amazing. Food:The swedish meatballs are amazing and worth the trip alone. The frozen yogurt is the best vanilla froyo i've tasted anywhere and the cinnamon rolls are a family favorite as well. Try the ligonberry sauce if you get the meatballs.Atmosphere:The upper level of the store has all of the furniture laid out into rooms and 'living spaces' of various sizes. They show you how you could live in 200sq ft and some other small size areas. Most of the furniture comes in 1+ of 3-4 shades, so it's easy to mix and match furniture. There is also a great kids area where kids can play on some of the toys they sell. If you want to shop without your kids, they do have a babysitting area that looks like fun for the kids if they are tall enough and potty trained. Downstairs has a bunch of non-furniture stuff like great curtains, rugs, kitchen and bathroom stuff, dishes and glasses, etc etc. Then there is the self-service warehouse where you pick up your furniture and check-out. Don't miss the $3 umbrellas (they are huge) in the check-out line!
Not only is this a one stop place for all of your Big Green Egg needs, this place also offers class. That's right, in the back of the store is a culinary center where you can lean how to use your big green egg. I took a pasta making class and it was amazing! I learned a lot and ate good too!
Cute cottage in the Highlands for miscellaneous items like cards, candles, soaps, clothing and glassware. They also had a selection of handmade furniture. The owners husband is really nice and welcoming!
Oh IKEA..you've saved me on many days when it was cold outside and needed somewhere to take my young son to play. I've bought furniture from IKEA more than a decade ago but will only do so for maybe a playroom...I do like their duvet covers since they are reasonably priced. Its one of the few places that I can find a king sized duvet for under $50. The restaurant is OK and pretty cheap to grab lunch. Where else can two people eat for less than $10? Avoid the weekends if you can since it is packed!! Anytime of the day during the week it is practically empty so I would suggest even going after work if you can make it during the day.
IKEA YASS! Of course this place is amazing! The best part is you can buy a huge piece of furniture and still fit the box in a small car since you assemble everything at home. Beware of the crowds on weekends (especially around the start of the school year)
Ikea is your go to for cheap bites and great decorating finds. If you're looking for specific items, know what you need before you go or else it may take you a while to find someone who can help. Once you do, they're very helpful and kind.
Beautiful and unique furniture. Also fun knickknacks like candles, frames coffee-table books and greeting cards that make good gifts. The owner's husband also hand makes the furniture and can make something custom for you.
Great experience custom ordering a sofa and chair, as well as two rugs. Wide selection of contemporary yet comfortable furniture and accents. Lots of help scheduling a weekend delivery that worked with our schedules!
They definitely have a lot of various home items for most areas of the house but the place is a bit of a mess and the prices were ok for what it is. Look for their sale items and sometimes you can get lucky.
