The space is small, but really cute. I quickly scanned the menu and ordered the Cup Sticky Rice along with the Dirty Bird and Shrimp Baos. The Dirty Bird Bao was served first. Party in my mouth! The bun melted in my mouth. The chicken was seasoned well. The pickled daikon and carrots went perfectly with the chicken. The Shrimp Bao made for a party after the Dirty Bird Bao party. And then the Cup Sticky Rice was the after after party...very flavorful.I brought a few of the baos home for The Hubs to try, but he wasn't a fan. Fortunately, that means this will be one of the few leftovers I can bring home without having to worry about him eating them behind my back.
We recently were due for a relaxing night in and decided to order take out from Mont Restaurant. The menu was a little overwhelming at first, but that is because they have any possible Asian food you can think of. I finally settled on Teriyaki Chicken with fried rice & my husband ordered Bee Lo Mein. We both enjoyed our meal immensely. The delivery was quick & our order correct. The amount of food for the cost also exceeded our expectations, as we were both able to make two meals out of our order (me three!).
I've been a few times, I usually pay by card and put my tip on the bill.I finished my meal and told the server I put the tip on my card. She informed me they never see the tips which are put on cards. The next time I went in I put the tip on the card againate and went back and asked did they know who served me. No, I then asked them for the tip money so I can make sure it goes to the right server, they did. Every time I go in I haveasked the servers and they always say they only get the money off the table.
We ignored the previous review, and we were sorry. The place was clean enough, but the food was not good. Lots of filler dishes like mashed potatoes, fried potatoes AND french fries. Pizza, "fajitas" (looked like fried tacos), wings, but very few Asian-ish dishes. The hot and sour soup was neither. The egg drop soup didn't taste right, and the wontons tasted weird. The sushi was fresh and even creative, so one star for that. The watermelon was decent also, so 2 stars.
The best place ever in Atlanta for the all Chinese food lovers. They have such a great menu with the awesome selections on it. The food is great. Egg rolls and steamed dumplings were delicious and very fresh. General Tao's chicken and The sweet and sour chicken were fantastic. The selection of the soups is very good. The staff is very friendly and kind. The environment is very comfortable. I had a great experience there highly recommend you to go there!!!
Gu's is one of my favorite stalls in Krog Street Market. The noodles are always great and the portion sizes are huge - I always get 2-3 meals out of them!I really like the Chendu noodles (served cold, perfect for hot days) and the dan dan noodles (great flavor). I'd also suggest (obviously) the dumplings - so good and so easy to eat so many of!
During our East Coast trip we decided to visit this establishment and are we glad that we did!! We tried the lo mein (pork), garlic string beans, General Tso's chicken (of course, everything was vegan). To sum it up, the food was cooked to perfection and the atmosphere made it even better. We will definitely come back before we leave.
This is some of the best Chinese food in Atlanta. The service is excellent, and I will continue to give this restaurant great ratings, and my money. When choosing a nice place to take out of town guest, this is a great place to go as well. Very resonable on price as well. Two can eat for under $30 with aps and soup.
You must try their cold Dan Dan noodles (a little spicy and a little sweet). Great pork dumplings as well! This is a food stand in Krog Street Market - the service is normally pretty quick and easy, and once you get your food you can walk around the food hall and find a place to eat. A great Asian staple!
