Bobby Jones Golf Course is conveniently located to Buckhead and intown neighborhoods. Unfortunately the course is not up to the standard of its namesake, Bobby Jones. The course is usually crowded, conditions are marginal and, due to the tightly spaced holes, there are safety issues will balls flying into adjacent holes.

18 holes of golf, 11 courts of tennis, great food, and the nicest people around. Fantastic intown club!
Great family place, wonderful staff and beautiful golf course. I love the pool in the summer, clay courts for tennis fans, great members too!
Best value for the money in the city. Played there several times with my son. Usually in good shape for a public golf course.
Don't play this after it rains. As it lies in low land next to the creek, it stays wet for a while. Affordable in town public course.
Unfortunately, they took out nine holes for the new high school. But this is a fun place to play a quick nine or hit range balls.
Candler Park Golf Course is a quirky golf course that provides great bang for the buck. While conditioning and design are not top-level, the laid-back vibe of the course helps make a round a pleasurable experience.
This is such a terrific club -- with a very enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere for the whole family. Tennis facilities are the best in Atlanta, a full 18 hole championship course, and a really fun pool. Add to that a terrific entertainment program -- and a rich history -- Druid Hills is outstanding!
For an older style course, Bobby Jones is a lot of fun. It is not the plush county club if that is what you are looking for but sometimes you just want to get 9 in on the way home and this fits the bill perfectly for me.
