After e-stalking a few yogis on Instagram one weekend, I decided I should work on being sexy flexy too. Highland Yoga has an amazing 10 days of unlimited classes for $10 for newbies, so that sealed the deal. If I hated it, I could at least be glad that I didn't waste a ton of money and go back to lurking on Instagram. The staff was friendly when I entered the studio and told me not to worry about not getting all of the moves right at first. They assured me that despite the challenges, I would enjoy the class. The warm room concerned me at first, but I appreciated it soon after we got started. I had no idea what was going on most of the time, but I just followed the folks in front of me and played along. Apparently, that worked since the instructor didn't believe me when I said it was my first time doing yoga. I appreciate the fact that she took me aside after class to show me the correct poses for a few moves. That made me feel like she actually cared. And she also said she wanted to see me back at the studio for more classes. As hard as it was, I'm actually looking forward to going back. The studio itself was beautiful and clean. And there was plenty o' parking, which I was a bit worried about at first. Have I found my new workout obsession? Not sure, but I have found something I'm interested in.

The best yoga class in Atlanta! If you like heated power vinyasa yoga, if you like Baron Baptiste Yoga, or if you just like challenging workouts, this is the studio for you. Instructors are well trained, knowledgeable, and extremely welcoming. They effortlessly lead classes that challenge both newcomers and experienced practitioners. The studio also offers workshops all the time which makes this studio great for people who are looking to take their practice to the next level. Parking is easy and free and class pricing is on point too. You will leave Thunderbolt Power Yoga feeling happier and stronger than when you walked in.
I tried out the Atma Hot yoga class and I had never done a yoga class before! The instructor, Lisa, was really nice and professional in making sure that we were doing all the poses right! The class was relaxing but also was a great workout (sitting in the chair position pose? ouch lol). It was 60 minutes and was in the coolest studio that was dark but had lights that changed color! I definitely recommend trying out this class. The bathrooms here are also amazing and so clean. The staff here was so nice and I could definitely see myself coming back here!
Fitness + latest technology = Atmasphere! This studio is giant, with 10,000 square feet of practice space, and offers so much more than just yoga. I'm talking cycling classes, guided meditation classes with sound-off headphones, massages, individual training, detox bar, etc. They even have valet parking! The multi-story space is really beautiful, with transitional LED lighting and a meditation wall. I particularly loved the guided meditation class -- the 30-minute one is perfect for beginners! I frequent a lot of the yoga studios around the area and Highland Yoga is one of my favorites. It's a hot studio, but not crazy hot (like CorePower) - just good enough to get a good sweat during your practice. Their classes are the perfect balance of not too strenuous, not too "mellow." I also love their touch of the cold towel w/ lavender and peppermint during savasana...such an added benefit! They have towels and mats you can use, which is great for those just getting started.
I love it here for a relaxing class. I’ve come early in the mornings and to the evening class. They were literally night and day. The morning class got me energized and pumped up for the day. The evening class soothed me before bed and help me go to sleep with scents of lavender. I can’t wait to try one of their other classes. I felt that the classes were challenging but the instructors presented great modifications for poses and made the experience great.
Kashi Atlanta offers yoga and meditation classes for all ages and skill levels. I love it here because I'm new to yoga and felt totally comfortable in classes here. The instructors are amazing and know how to explain every move really well. I love that they incorporate spirituality into the practice but don't make it heavy-handed. Plus their emphasis on service and community makes it a warm and welcoming place to be.
This is an amazing fitness studio. It's a combination of yoga, cycling, and meditation with a lot of different class options. The studio is impeccable - super clean, beautiful serene facilities...just a great place to get your sweat on. All of the instructors were so nice, even though it was my first time cycling. I was so impressed all around!
I've taken several yoga classes and found them to be ok but not relaxing. After the class I felt good but something was missing. Unit I tried Dahn yoga, and I love it. Its got everything for me. When I leave the class I feel ALIVE, it does something more than just make my body feel good, it makes my mind feel so happy. I love it.
The studio is clean and the classes are challenging. Be prepared to sweat, stretch and get a great workout. Regular classes are better for students who are very familiar with yoga rather than beginners.
