I like going to places like this to learn about popular things in history and such. The taste test part was interesting. I still have my 2 unopened bottles they gave me.
One more example of the American taxpayers being defrauded by yet another FAKE "museum". Taking money from our government to "promote patriotism", with only a facebook page with BS fundraising. REALLY??? Doesn't fit into my idea of Patriotism. Shame on you Nick and Pat. Karma is getting even with ya'll as I write this. I hope something is learned.
I recently visited the museum with my daughter and was happy to see all the renovations that had took place. It's really nice! Lots of educational information throughout the museum. Perfect for homeschoolers. My daughter did not want to leave!
A must visit place to visit if your in Atlanta. There is so much history in this beautiful build. Some very heavy history about the Civil Rights Movement that needs to be told and seen.
Very unique museum offering technology as a form of art. They offer many classes to children and adults alike using different forms of technology.
One of my favorite places to visit in Atlanta. It's a beautiful museum with some amazing art. They have great programming for families as well.
Nice place to visit, if you are interested in knowing the history of coca cola. I really enjoyed tasting all of the flavors from around the world. You get a complimentary glass bottle of coke when you leave! I will never open my complimentary bottle of Coke. Don't forget the picture on the sofa with the polar bear. Highly recommended to check it out! Everyone will have fun!!!
Every 2nd Sunday is free admission...Family day. How could you not enjoy an afternoon at the High? There are always family oriented activities. It a chance to get your children interested in the arts early in life. Always a good time to be had.
We had an awesome time at the newly-renovated Children's Museum of Atlanta. There's a huge multi-story playground in the middle of the museum, with additional playhouses scattered about different exhibits. Interactive demonstrations include science experiments, arts and crafts, a painting station, and actors doing skits. Thanks to Waffle House, there's a fake diner and play food. Publix provided a "grocery store" complete with a delivery truck/playhouse. From a play perspective, there are plenty of blocks, toys, a "fishing hole", sand tables, train sets, costumes, and dozens of ways for the kids to have fun. If you have friends with kids ages 10 and under, they're going to love this place. From a logistics perspective, there's a pay parking lot just a block down from the museum on the left. You can also bring in your own food and drinks because the second story of the museum has an area with picnic tables so kids can snack then go back to playing.
