This company as a whole is the worse! I would not recommend them under any circumstances! You do better not having any insurance. Calling customer service is a joke. And then they get mad when you tell them how crappy they are doing when they ask. Believe the news reports it is ALL TRUE! Who asks you to TEXT a request for a cancellation????? Not fax, not e-mail but text?

This insurance company is a freaking joke. We had one of their insured hit and Totaled our Beautiful ACURA TL and they have been uncimpathetic, RUDE to put it nice, slow very unperfessional. And do not care one bit about anything or anyone they deal with. They will not call you back and once you keep on calling Miss Lori Butler will start yelling at you over the phone. And has for Her supervisor Theodore Willson he is the definition of a SLACKER! Do everything you possibly can to not deal with these people. They should be shut down and not allowed to insure people. Because they want to get away with not paying for anything and I do mean ANYTHING!
Every person chooses insurance based on different reasons. For me, it's about not being a number in a system, i.e. when I call, I can speak to the same person. They're familiar with my situation and I don't need to waste a bunch of time "briefing" someone on a claim I've already filed or ask some anonymous person at the end of the line about my private financial matters.I didn't do a lot of price shopping because I'd already gone the "cheap" route and wasn't happy, so you may be able to find a cheaper quote...but I doubt you'll find better insurance for the price. Believe me...I've used a lot of insurance companies in the past and I'm really glad not to have to deal with making any more changes. Could I be getting my car insurance for a lower price? Maybe...But would it be worth the hassle? Not for me...but you may be different. It's just a matter of what's important to you.
I've been with Alfa Insurance for over 30 years. I wish offered services locally sooner, but I'm glad they did!
