Hi Kurt, Recall that we live on a boat, that I suffered West Nile Virus encephalitis last year, given to me by some passing mosquito, that we needed to protect my wife before the upcoming mosquito season, that you made up curtains for the open-able windows in my boat and that the curtains had black mosquito mesh held inside 1-inch wide white belts. When they arrived, we put in the first snaps for the first curtain, then went on to do all of them, and the results are fantastic! The curtains are just elastic enough so we can pull them 'tight' over the wood frame outside the windows and get a good enough 'seal' to prevent mosquitoes from entering along the sides. And, the curtains block very little light and none of the view, just as we had hoped! After installing the six curtains over the outside windows, we came inside and put up the curtains under the two skylights. Again, everything worked perfectly. Amazingly, from the outside, you do not even notice the curtains.
I hired Affordable Remodeling after searching for a Remodeling company in the Buckhead Area and they promptly returned my call and we were able to move forward with the process very quickly. Affordable did an EXCELLENT job renovating our master bath and kitchen. Their work was flawless and they did not stop until the job was done beautifully. When their electricians went to plug in their saw and realized one of my outlets wasn't working he offered to fix it and even did a great job with that! This company is an honest and very detailed contractor. It's not easy to find a contractor who does a wonderful job without a personal recommendation, but this is one time when my google search paid off! I would definitely recommend them to all my family and friends!
Lonnie showed up at my door exactly on time. I had four different things to get done: bury a cable (not too hard, anyone can do that, just didn't want to get my hands dirty), fix a toilet paper holder that kept falling off (he moved it to a better place and patched the hole), repair a leak and fix a light. He unfortunately couldn't fix the light because the transformer was dead and Home Depot didn't carry it. But at least he identified the problem (he was an electrician in the past) and I can order the part myself online. Lonnie did a great job on everything and was very polite. The owner followed up later with a call. I wasn't happy about something (communication issue) but he did what was necessary to fix the problem.
She is sweet as can be! I love her meek yet professional character. Tiffany had to have patience to work with me! I asked her a million questions and I would lose track of time and email or text her wayyyy after working hours. MS Tiffany always responded and gave me an answer to my question. I had a very lengthy complicated process of obtaining financing, but I had the right realtor ( MS Tiffany Richardson). She is still working on some things in my home and we closed on December 28,2015.I loved the professional services this charming and energetic lady provided. A general contractor specializes in seeing a home remodel or repair project through from start to finish. A lien dispute could also be prevented by performing due diligence prior to picking a contractor, as any contractor with good credit and a long track record of satisfied clients should have no trouble paying for materials and labor once all contract conditions have been met.
Once work is underway, it's never a bad idea to check up on the progress of the job, either by staying in touch with the contractor over the phone or visiting the site in person. If you work with a trustworthy professional, it's probably best to keep your distance and allow everyone to stay busy. If you want to keep an eye on things, make sure workers wear the right safety gear and that everything looks to be moving along according to schedule. Finally, once work is finished and you are satisfied, be sure to thank your contractor and tell friends or family members about your experience.
