I had not eaten at Longhorn for ages. So I stopped in expecting mediocre steak. The steak is very good. They cook it correctly for your preference here. The portions are fine, but the prices are a bit high. Service was good.
Don't go if you have more than two people in your party. I was very disappointed with the service received at this Steakhouse in Athens. We were in Athens for the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. My members and I went to the Longhorn (6) after service on Wednesday evening, June 12, 2013. I had with me two seniors who had slight disabilities. I told the young lady that it was difficult for them to sit in a booth so we would need a table. We were patient and waited over 30 minutes for a table she said she didn't have - when there were three tables we were looking at that were empty. Again we were patient. We waited. The young lady returned and said if we wanted a table we would have to wait longer. At that time I had enough. I told her that was alright and we left. Why wouldn't she just put two of those three table together so that we could be served? Was she just too lazy? Or was it that she just didn't care? There are some people who should not serve the public. This woman was one of them. We will not return to this Longhorn Steakhouse. Rev. Maggie P. Young, Barnesville, Georgia
