STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! For the record, this is the very first negative review I have EVER written. The review from "Steeberjoe1" is spot on. I'm not very difficult to please. I was patient even after 4 months of still not receiving my order. At first they said, "It should be arriving soon". Then after several weeks of still not hearing back from them, I began to push for more information. The answer from then on was "The owner is handling it. I can't help you." However, the owner refuses to speak to me or call me back. The employee repeatedly made no effort to help, not even a simple call to the supplier to find the status of my order shipment – as if instructed not to. The employee admitted pretty quickly that the owner is nearly impossible to communicate with and would likely not be calling me back. Coward. I asked when the owner would be there so I could call back myself at that time and they were frankly dishonest, changing their story from "The owner just pops in, and I never know when that will be" - to "The owner never comes into the store and doesn’t answer when I call him". When I asked to speak with the office manager (desperate for some kind of resolution), I was told the owner is also the office manager… Wait, the one who also never comes into the store? There is a clear lack of managing/leadership ability. **What angers me the most is the owner's inconsiderate attitude and complete disregard for my child who still has no crib to sleep in after 7 months of dealing with this store!!!! I am biting the bullet and ordering from another place, whose customer service has been wonderful so far, despite having to wait the standard 12 weeks for my order to arrive. I have requested a refund of my deposit from Rattles & Rhymes, which likely they have already spent…still no word back. I write this so that you can avoid a situation like mine by buying your baby products from an accountable, professional company --- from my experience, this store is unfortunately not that place.

Don't listen to those rude reviews! I LOVE THIS STORE!! They are mostly a baby furniture store! They have some beautiful nursery collections made to look like an actual nursery! If you don't like any of the floor models, you can look through hundreds of pages of beautiful nursery furniture! If you come in with a brand of furniture you want, they will do everything they can to get you that brand even if they don't normally carry it! They know you by your name and treat you like family! When there are issues with the manufacturers (delays, etc.), the owner puts in extra effort, time, and money to hurry the process! They also offer loaner cribs/ furniture if yours is late! I love them!

I absolutely love this store!!...

I absolutely love this store!!! They carry the best brands and cutest things ever. I bought my nursery bedding, car seat, stroller, glider and many other essential items for my baby. Great prices as well!!! Customer service is by far the best around. The store owner, Max, personally delivered glider to my home so I can have it a few days earlier then expected. I recently called rattles and rhymes to see if they carried a certain medela pump for my sis n law and there Max was again to the rescue:) I didn't realize I called after hours and she said she was still @ store and I can swing by and pic it up. Now that's what I call customer service:) I also want to thank Melissa and other staff who helped out with my registry and car seat explanations, job well done!!! I can't wait for the new baby classes coming soon and I look forward to working w/ you guys again for my next.

The owner assumes no responsib...

The owner assumes no responsibility and passes off important issues to her staff members. We had an issue that needed to be resolved with an order we placed because WEEKS had gone by with no phone call or updates. Continual calls to them lead to no response. Simply "we'll look into it". When we asked to speak to the owner because the staff was to inept to assist, the owner refused to talk directly to us on the phone. Instead, she sat next to an employee and told her what to say. What a coward. Completely unprofessional. When we were in the store, we also witnessed the owner yelling at her employees when we placed the original order. Not good for anyone. My advise? Go to Walmart.

Local baby shop

This store is halfway between a boutique and department store. They carry many of the same things that you would find in both. Being a small town shop, I have been disappointed with their overall customer service. My wife and I registered there for our upcoming child. The registry list was never updated properly. The online registry had multiple items missing, and the in-store registry was never updated after someone came in and purchased something off of it. My wife called at least three times and went by a couple times in an attempt to get it straighten out. Also, special order a crib and expect to wait nearly 12 weeks for it to come in. So over all, they I would say they their customer service and price are between a boutique and department store.
