Kidney Clinic of Athens is a speciality medical practice established in February, 2003, to give services to the Athens and surrounding counties for kidney-related disease and also hypertension. From the very beginning, doctors, and paraprofessionals and other team members of Kidney Clinic of Athens mostly focused our care to prevent or delay the progression of the chronic kidney disease. For that Kidney Clinic of Athens is a mostly referral-based speciality clinic which provides outpatient services to all referred patients with routine continuity of care. We also provide hormone treatment for anemia and also intervenous iron treatment at our facility beside seeing our patients. It is to be noted even though our main goal is to prevent kidney disease, sometimes worsening of the kidney function is inevitable. For that reason Kidney Clinic of Athens is also affiliated with multiple dialysis facilities around this area. We provide dialysis services for hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and also at-home hemodialysis. Beside treating kidney disease, we are also dedicated for hypertension management. We provide workup for secondary hypertension and management. Our office is open for regular business hours and most of the time we are able to see our referred patient on short notice.
