Come for the food - stay for the fun!



This was the first place I tried barbecue when I came to Athens - and it's still one of my favorite places. They have a good variety of food from chicken to brisket to ribs. Plus they have many types of sides to choose from like fried okra, Brunswick stew and curly fries.



What I like most about the restaurant is that it's super family friendly. There are all kinds of dishes on the kids menu and kids eat free on Mondays from 6:00-9:00pm with each paid adult (Dine-in only).



I liked everything I tried our first time there, though if you eat in the main dining room, you should bring a sweater as they blast the A/C. Portions are good but not outrageous. Decent prices for what you get and the servers are very friendly, too.



What's really fun about the about this place is that you can eat outside in the back and watch some terrific local bands on Friday and Saturday nights. Kids are welcome too. They also have karaoke on Sunday and bike night on Wednesday. Their bar's really cool, too - great down home atmosphere.
