I am beyond happy with my experience with Hayward Allen! I had an unusual request, I wanted to trade in two different vehicles ( neither of which was in great shape) and get a reliable, much newer car, to make the journey to San Diego. Where I recently received an amazing job opportunity and decided to move across the country. I now have not only a reliable car to get me to California but you got me the deal I was asking for. I was very specific in my terms and you meet, no you actually exceeded, my expectations. I have a lower payment than expected and I was in and out of there in about 2 hours...way less then many car dealership experiences I've had in the past. Ken, our sales rep was amazing! He got to know exactly what we needed and quickly found us the right car. I could tell early on that he was genuine and was there to help us. We had a real issue and he, with the team, solved it! I am happy to endorse Hayward Allen and I will personally attest to the fine job they do. They truly care about their customers and I hope you will give them a chance to earn your business, you will be glad you did!
Hyundai was running a simple promotion. You come in, do a test drive, then get a $40 promotional card. After visiting this dealer twice and making and sending more than half a dozen phone calls and emails I still never got my card even though they kept promising me that it would be processed and they would handle my request. The first time I went in I was upfront about needing more time before purchasing a car so a salesman said a test drive was not necessary and that he would have my card request put in. Later that day I still hadn't received a processing confirmation email so I called and they said that who I spoke to earlier had likely been fired so at this point I began a long string of emails with dealer customer service and then finally called again to speak to a manager. What a joke. The manager told me to send him my voucher via email but I still never received my virtual card so when I was in the area again right before the promotion ended I came by with a second paper copy of my voucher and he assured me that he would take care of it but didn't. I even apologized some and said I wasn't trying to be a bother even though it probably takes the dealer less than five minutes to submit the voucher so everyone would have won had that simple task been done. Now I'll definitely never be back, I wasted my time and theirs, I didn't get my card, and they got a negative review. I'm sorry you may not agree with an offer corporate is running but that's what helps bring people in so instead of irritating potential customers why not just humor them with the hope that they'll return later on instead of making them beg you to honor a simple promotion that leads them to never come back? That makes no sense.I would certainly not stop here unless you're going to be purchasing a car right then and there which I highly advise against. Definitely don't count on them living up to any promotion or even servicing your car according to many other reviews. I'm sorry no one may want to buy your cheap automobiles and you have to bribe people to come in but treating your possible customers as badly as you do isn't going to help move more cars; if anything it will assure they all stay right on the lot where they belong. I could not ever imagine doing business with this dealer to make a likely unwise investment in a vehicle due to the fact that something so simple had to be made so incredibly complicated and annoying. Don't run away, drive away as fast as you can, preferably not in a Hyundai.Update: I finally received my incentive gift but had I not put in the ridiculous amount of effort that I did with my request then I'm doubtful I would have ever gotten it. They did follow through and submit it, however to their credit. The process was just way harder than it should have been and I had to basically beg to get a simple request fulfilled so my advice to be cautious doing business with this dealer still stands. With enough bothering, though they may finally come through for you.
I am happy with my purchase of Nissan Sentra 2.0 SR. I need some more help on "how to care my car?" advice from Nissan's of Athens.
I have bought two vehicles from Preston's. The owner, Mark, is honest and very knowledgeable. A friend recommended I call him for my first truck, and I am happy I did. I found that the kelly blue book values may be lower or higher, depending on which vehicle. Whether or not this is true, you always get a great running vehicle.
Cars are way overpriced according to the "Blue Book" values. Most financers and banks will not fiance cars like that.
Mark Preston is a rare find in the auto repair & sales industry. Between his soft-spoken frankeness coupled w/industry knowledge, I doubt you'll any that compare. Why just today, while PU another vehicle in for routine maintenance, in less than 5 minutes he diagnosed and repaired a Check Engine issue on my Highlander. Further, he's brokered vehicle purchases for us that, as our large family evolves, keeps us coming back for more! Check w/him before you go anywhere else.
I've been taking my 2002 Ford to Brian for years, and have always been satisfied. My car currently has 285,000 miles on it and everything works well. Runs smoothly and is reliable. Because Brian is thorough, it's not the fastest service. You can't expect a 20 oil change. BUT your car and your wallet will be well treated and you'll have peace of mind knowing that your car was fixed/maintained correctly.
truck i bought has no power when pulling work trailer.had trouble with window not rolling up.acceleration sucks also.never will buy another truck with a 4.6 motor.sales person told me i would have no trouble with it pulling trailer when i bought it.pulling power on it sucks!!!!!!!!
Don't trust these people! The only car on their lot that they have ever paid Blue Book Trade-in value or under for is the one your trying to trade, all other trade-ins before you they claim to have paid $5000 to $6000 more than what Blue Book says is a fair trade-in price!!! In other words they are trying to make $6000 + on their used cars and that doesn't include what the will make off your Trade-in! With these grossly inflated used car prices they still do the old song and dance about how you are beating them up and that they are loosing money if they take any off the top! After offering them Blue Book fair market value which was a hefty $3000 profit to the dealership they still refused to come down! The truck I was looking at was $21,000, the Kelly Blue Book price for that truck as a trade-in was $15,000, the Kelly Blue Book Fair Market Value for that truck was almost $18,000 which I was willing to pay but they insisted on putting profit before their customers by refusing to come down from the $21,000 sticker price! Buyer Beware! The sales manager was condescending, rude and in my opinion a bald face liar!Kevin Rowland
