My Husband & I Love This Place.We Eat There At Least Once A Week. The Servers R All Very Nice & Know What They R Doing. We Have Never Gotten Bad Food Or Service. The Server That Just Had A Baby Is a Very Good Server. I Tell Every1 About SideLines. Our Church Group Will B Eating There In Just A Few Weeks. Not Every1 Will Have A Good Experence BCause Every1:s Tastes R Different,. And Some Folks Can Not B Pleased No Matter What U Do 4 Them. I Was A Server 4 Years & I Know That U Can Bend Over Backwards 4 Some Folks & They Just R Not Happy No Matter What.. Keep Up The Good Work & We Will Keep Comming In.

My wife and I took some friends that were looking at property in Ashland City to Sideline. We pulled up, the open sign was on, and the hours on the door stated that they were open till 10PM which was perfect as it was 9pm. We walked in and after waiting 5-10 mins for someone to greet us what appeared to be the cook walked up and asked if we had been helped. we said no and he said sorry were closed and I've sent everyone home. I looked at him and said sign says open and the door says you close at 10pm. his response was sorry, were closed. keep that kind of customer service and it wont be long till your closed permanently. I will be telling everyone I know how you treated us.

Skip this place if you are going to eat lunch and are expected to be back to your job in an hour. Waited for 45 minutes for a simple meal when another table over from us probably got their meal within 20 minutes tops.

Last time I was there it was just OK. On the out I noticed the sign in the window that says "NO FIREARMS" so I wont be back. I respect their right to not want me to have the ability to protect myself. I will not patronize a place that will not let me have the ability to protect my family and myself.

Despite older reviews we found this place to be great. We had the buffalo chicken wrap and the chicken Philly cheese and some sweet potato fries. Our service was prompt, friendly and efficient. We learned from the hostess that they have new management and staff. Hope Ashland City will give it another try because we hope this plays stays around!

I visited Sidelines earlier this week for my second visit since it's arrival to our town. I was so dismayed to see an absolutely devastating difference between my first and LAST visits. I was so excited to have a touch of Nashville in our small town when it first opened. I heard there was a rough start so my husband and I waited unpatiently for our first visit, as he is in the service industry and knows of the "kinks" involved with a new restaurants. So nearly 2 months after the open date we made our first visit. I was blown away, and even more surprising, so was my husband! The food was amazing, the service was average, however the young gentlemen that must have been a manager seemed soo passionate about the establishment that it was apparent that things would remain dynamic and growth filled. Well some friends and I made the mistake of having our "girls night" at Sidelines. The classy restaurant that I was, originally, so surprised by practically became a dive bar. My friends and I had to wait for our food while listening to Eminem blaring cuss words. Our drinks would have been enjoyable if I were a liver hardened daily drinker. The manager didn't look like he wanted to serve us as much as he wanted to roofie us, and I'm pretty sure there was a drug deal that took place feet away from my table. The food was decent but it's apparent a distributor has changed at the least. I was disgusted to say the least. Which is why I'm spending my lunch break writing this review. Ashland City needs Strattons back. Not a firework that fizzles out after a quick flash. Speaking of which, Happy 4th!!

This place can fool you. Me and my family went in this past Wednesday night and they were having some kind of poker tournament. Every thing was fine and then the manager turned the radio station to rap music and turned it up loud. There was profanity in the music and my kids were shocked. Our food was poor quality and the waitress and manager were more interested in the poker than the guest. This is nothing like it was my first trip here. All the faces have changed. We will definetly not be back.

My experience at Sidelines Grill was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! The food was GREAT! My waitress jessica was wonderful, My husband and kids had the best time. The service was so good, everybody treated us like family.. I've never felt so loved by a restaurant in my life haha. All the negative comments are very much not understanded in any way. I've been to sidelines at least 10 times now and have had great experiences everytime. Im definitely recommending Sidelines Grill to EVERYBODY I KNOW!! I have friends and family from all over the world that come to visit ashland city, and EVERYSINGLE ONE OF THEM WILL DEFINITELY BE EATING THERE WHEN THEY COME! THANK YOU SIDELINES GRILL FOR EVERYTHING! I truely appreciate everything from ya'll, its so exciting to be able to have such a great place to eat at in ashland city. I heard the fellow employees of sidelines grill are opening up some restaurant to get back at Sidelines, NOTHING BUT IMMATURITY. I will not be eating there, I PROMISE THAT. Horrible Location, Right infront of the courthouse, and right beside the laundry mat? C'mon people. But Sidelines grill, Ya'll are very much loved :) Ya'lls buisness will grow like crazy, I can bet on that ;)

I agree with the review below. Food is over priced. You can't charge 12 dollars for a mcdonalds burger. Very disappointed

Me and my family ate at Sidelines last night and it was the worst expierience I have ever had. We were sat bt the hostess and it took 5 minutes to get our drink order. We then placed our order and when the food came out nearly 45 minutes later all five of our orders were returned due to bad quality. There were only 10 other people in the place. We left and went to river view. This place has a teriffic atmosphere but the food is not the same and the service has crashed. I took it upon myself to see what happened. I called some people I know around town and was told that the creators of the place were not there anymore. The chef who created all the food was let go. The son who built the place and originated the idea left and the manager who was running it quit the same day. Then I find out that alot of employees quit soon there after. I looked at the good reviews on this place and wondered why our expierience was so bad and come to find out the good reviews were made by people who still work there. This place had the potential but something is not right. I was also told that the creators are opening a new place in ashland city that is gauranteed to rival the best of nashville at ashland city prices. I am giving this review 1 star because it wont let me give a zero

Good place to eat and drink in Ashland City. I came out for the first time on wednesday and they were having a poker tournament. The food was great and the entertainment atmosphere was very enjoyable.

I agree with Johnson... I Love This Place!!! By the way readers the number has changed to 792-6800. ?I wondered why I couldn't get anyone? Anyway, like Johnson said, they're hospitality is unmatchable. Great food! Good service! Anyone should like how they try to get your name and give you the VIP treatment. The one time I had a problem they bent over backwards to fix it, and went above and beyond what anyone would expect them to do. They do have a problem with the AC, but the management assured me it wouldn't be a problem for long. I really hope Ashland City can support this place, because I would like to see it stick around for a long time. We need a place like this in town!

GREAT FOOD!!!! They're inexperienced serving staff was made up for by they're hospitality, and management. I've been there several times and after about the 3rd or 4th time they knew my name and what I like to drink. I also hear that they're implementing an extensive training program for their servers. Things are looking up for this bright young restaurant. They'll have my business for many years to come.

I was VERY disappointed in this restaurant. I had heard nice things about them when they first opened. However, the first time my boyfriend and I were in there, on a Saturday night, for our anniversary, they were out of orange juice and couldn't make a margarita. So, we went to Don Pancho's next door. So, yesterday my boyfriends says do you want to go out for lunch and I said sure let's give Sidelines another chance. We go in and there is only one other table and one person at the bar. The hostess sat us so that we could watch the race. She asked what we would like to drink and we told her 2 margarita's no salt. The bartender was behind the bar, he looked right at us, then the server came to the table and asked us what we would like to drink and we again gave her our order. The bartender then left the bar, we sat there for about 5 minutes and the server finally came to the table to get our order, we had been given a lunch menu that didn't even list an appitizer, so I asked if they had an appitizer menu, she brought us a different menu, still no drinks and still no bartender. Needless to say, this place will go the same way The Stables did. We left~! We went to Don Pancho's~! They know how to treat people over there. What a shame. A guest in your restaurant has value. The average family spends over $2000 a year eating out and in a town this size you need all of them eating at your establishment. We definately will NOT give them another try~!

This is one of the best resturants in Ashland City!!! Our server Jessica was very attentive, caring, and compassionate about her job, and gave us the best service Ive had in years. She made sure our drinks were always full our food was out and correct in a timely manner and the manager on duty i believe his name was Scott came and asked us how everything was going. Im very pleased with the management and staff members. Everytime I go in Im pleased with the quality of the food and service. Thanks for working so hard to keep an amazing place like Siedlines up and running!!!! Would recommend this establishment to everyone!!!!!

By far the worst place i've ever been. I've eaten at sideline's twice. Both time's with large parties. This past sunday my family and i and some about fifteen more of us came in to eat. The whole dining area when you first walked in was available. I heard two servers speak of who would get our party. One girl to the other she had confidence that she could handle this many so she took us. While it was apparent the other waitresses there, which only looked to be three of them, we're very busy with their own tables and our server was doing the best she could, a man i'm assuming to be the manager was degrading her every move in which made our server cry. This upset me because she was doing the best she could and was very nice and attentive to all of our needs. To the commenter below about this particular day, i agree whole heartedly, staff should not be treated this way, he could have easily pulled her to the back and spoken with her, not lashed out in front of guests. If this isn't bad enough... I ordered the philly cheese steak for the second time. Thought i would give it another chance since the first time i had ordered it, it was undercooked. The meat appeared to be cooked well, but it smelled rather odd. Once i got home and was in bed, it all hit me at once. I was extremely sick, stayed up the whole night. The next day i called some of the people i had with me and a younger man that was with us had the french dip which i believe is the same meat as a philly and he too had gotten sick as well. Will not go back.

Don't waste your time, nothing on the menu. Hamburger, Chicken Sandwich, no Appetizers. I have more of a selection at my house. Staff has NO CLUE what they are doing. Quick hint, train your staff before you open. Don't train them on 1st time customers that will never come back. I only gave this one star because this link makes you have to give at least one.

You have to go there to eat! I'm new to the area and was very pleased to see that there is a nice 'sit down' restaurant. I was ecstatic to discover the food is amazing and we've received amazing service each time we've been! My ONLY negative and they should address this instantly - is there 'curb side pick up' girls. :-( They simply need to be trained in proper etiquette in communicating with customers. Afterall, Sidelines' owners cannot afford to keep covering up their mistakes. Other than this (and I'm referring to only one incident) I would recommend this to anyone! And I'm lovin' the fried oreos! (HAVE TO TRY THEM!)

The worst restaurant I have been to in the past 10 years. Have gone twice.... the first time we left after waiting more than two hours and still no food. Went back this past week to give them a second chance. No food after 1 hour and our server said there had been a mixup in the kitchen. Did not charge us for our pizza, but they shouldn't have given how bad it tasted. Server didn't bring us pizza condiments until we asked for them and then asked us if we wanted parmesean or pepper... as if they were mutuall exclusive. When she did bring them, they were in dishes and we had no spoon to use to retrieve the condiments. Had over half of a 16" pizza left. Asked for togo box and she brings a 3-compartment styrofoam carrier that was made for meat/veggies. Couldn't hold half of the pizza that we had left. This would be funny, except for the fact that it looks like the rule rather than the exception. Would never recommend it to anyone.
