The worst platos closet I have ever been to. Bought a jacket and had my sick baby with me and was crying and upset so was in a hurry. got it home it had a stain and I realized I was charged more than the tag had labeled. I returned within an hour and they told me they would not give money back. of course I don't want store credit. All the staff were rude and snobby. I took clothes and a brand new coach purse new with tags to sell my bags were not even looked through and they didn't even know what bags were mine and told me they didn't want anything. I am guessing because I was in the day before over the jacket. I've donated clothes to Goodwill in better shape then most of the clothes I seen in the store.. they were faded, holes, stains and I had the same exact VS yoga pants they had in the store I bought them in 2009 when I got pregnant with my first son. and they were missing rhinestones and very faded and priced at 20.00. I would recommend going to greenville sc or Johnson city tn. You will get better service and your items are tagged with your name as well as looked through and they are more picky on what they buy so better selection and pricing.
I have gone into this store numerous times and have received such poor customer service. I am a black professional who loves to shop for quality professional clothing. The associates at this store do not speak to me or will actually look me in the eye with a dumbfounded look on their face. I am not sure if this is the training they receive to try and intimidate certain ethnicities or they are just actually socially and professionally bankrupt. I have been to another factory store in Mebane and the customer service was impeccable and welcoming. I love J crew clothing and tolerate this store because I do not believe it is the attitude of the corporation but that of the sale associates.
Hi my name is Quran Shabazz an I'm 14 trying to apply for a job . can you please text mw back on Facebook. My name Qu'ran Shabazz
Came in today and was immediately greeted very warmly by Dominic (not sure if I spelled that correctly). I shopped there and tried on clothing for the better part of an hour, and all the while Dominic and the other employees were extremely attentive and helpful. They made buying clothes (something I hate doing) a wonderful experience. It was a welcome change from usual shopping. These workers set the standard for good customer service around the clock. 5/5.
I hate going to this Plato's Closet. All of the workers are very snobby and the atmosphere is discouraging. I never feel welcomed and the service is terrible. I have sold some of my clothes there before, but this time I was not able to take them myself and so my mother took them. She told me that the girl servicing her was very rude and told her that plato's was not a store for older people, but for high schoolers and 20-something's. I will not be wasting my time in an unfriendly store such as this run by conceited workers who do nothing but give their customers a disgusted look.
