This company in no way at all cares for their employees. They hold in complete disregard to employment laws regarding workers and demand that their employees work off the clock, as well as fire an employee if they do not wish to come back from break early. I myself was a manager and was terminated by this lawless company due to the fact that i did not know i couldnt go across the street to get something to drink due to a long night the day before. I left the store in the capable hands of one of my crew trainers for not even 2 minutes. I even got invited to a christmas party for the company where they gave me new uniforms not even a week before they termed me. On top of this lawlessness and disregard to their employees the stores are not clean the food is not ever held to standard they refreeze food that has thawed and its just a gross negligence of health sanitation policies. Eat there at your own risk!!!

I was here for lunch with three co-workers (first time eating here for all of us); and, we all Loved our meals. I had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw on it and a side of fries; and, I topped it with the Eastern BBQ sauce. Wonderful tasting pork, and not dry or fatty. The fries were excellent...I do not like "raw" fries, and these were perfect. Service was prompt. We were out of there in an hour, and that includes the time we sat with a signed check on the table just gabbing; so, it was not an hour of order-eat-check please time. A co-worker ordered the brisket sandwich, and she raved; and another raved over the mac and cheese side he had...we were all commenting on the good food as we left the place. I give it four stars only because I wish for less mayo in the slaw, and a vinegar slaw would be great. I will be bringing my family here.
The beer was good but I need to complain about the food! My gf's Reuben sandwich had almost no sauerkraut on it and not enough sauce. My sandwich was pretty good but we both had potato salad and the potatoes were way too hard, like they were barely cooked. when we complained the waitress tried to give us some bs about russet potatoes that sometimes they come out like that. i don't know about the people that work here but i've eaten a lot of potato salad in my life and i don't remember ever being served hard potatoes.
Sunny Point Cafe knows how to make a biscuit! Be prepared for a lengthy wait (we have a party of 6 and waited 90 minutes), but they warn you in advance that it'll take a while. While waiting, there is coffee and water available as well as live music and a garden to walk through. This made the wait much more bearable. Once we got seated, the food was well worth it! When a restaurant does breakfast right, people take notice. I would absolutely recommend if you're not on a tight schedule!
Haven't tried the food yet but the atmosphere and staff are comfy and friendly. Drinks are very reasonable. The history behind the building and materials used inside to decorate were a wonderful conversation we had with the owner Cam. Impressed by the passion behind the business and the philanthropic efforts for the community. Don't miss it.
Chef Lars, You're an idiot! I've been coming to Asheville TRH for several years now, and have never had a less than EXCELLENT meal. I build custom homes and I would never write a bad review about another builder. My dad always said, " If you don't have something good to say about another, best to say nothing at all ". Wasn't sure what to expect from the storefront and the intro of "Indian street food"... Pleasantly surprised. Great food. Felt satisfied, and the food was delicious. Service was prompt and courteous. Nice addition to downtown Asheville.
We stopped by here twice while on vacation and really loved the quaint feel of the town as well as the good food. The wait was short and the staff was easy to work with. We will definitely stop by the next time we are in the area.
I was informed about this place by a friend. I was very pleased with our experience there. Was in Asheville for a week and came here 4 times during the trip. Their breakfast is a must!!!!
So far I'm digging the beer! I had the falafel. Hubby had the rueben. It was delicious although serving size could be adjusted to the price. Go. You won't be disappointed.
