Carmels at one time was great - food, service, bartenders, attitude. We've watched it slide steadily downhill over the last couple of years. First t…
Authentic, delicious Mexican restaurant. We especially love the made from scratch corn tortillas and tamales. Super friendly staff and great deck for eating outdoors in nice weather. Incredible made from scratch salsa. Our family eats here at least a couple of times a month.
Country cooking. The biscuits are amazing! The fried chicken was good. The green beans were good. Good southern sweet tea, too.
Sunny Point Cafe knows how to make a biscuit! Be prepared for a lengthy wait (we have a party of 6 and waited 90 minutes), but they warn you in advance that it'll take a while. While waiting, there is coffee and water available as well as live music and a garden to walk through. This made the wait much more bearable. Once we got seated, the food was well worth it! When a restaurant does breakfast right, people take notice. I would absolutely recommend if you're not on a tight schedule!
An incredibly enjoyable breakfast experience! Delicious food and great service from the staff. Biscuits are flakey, cooked to perfection, and come with a variety of jam and gravy options!
This place is awesome great service friendly atmosphere top notch food the best Mexican restaurant in town
The Mexican city tacos are amazing! This is my favorite Mexican restaurant anywhere. Don't forget to try the cornmeal scoop (never got the name)
If this was a Cuban Restaurant that serves Cuban sandwiches, you would think at least they would print it on the menu???????
Love this place! If you are looking for FRESH FOOD this is the place to go. the menue is very simple, they have Burritos, bowls, quesadillas, tacos, salads and taco salads. they have a flat price for $7.99 and no extra charge for guacamole or queso when you are building your food. Locally owned and extremely DELICIOUS.
This is MUCH better now than the previous review (written in their early days) indicates. It's become our default place to go when we're not specifically in the mood for something else, which is several times a month, almost weekly. We love the food and drinks, and the service is now top-notch. Yes the menu is a little bit La Paz and a little bit new, but the execution is now excellent, and they've earned our business! We too were sad to see La Paz go, but frankly their quality was off in their latter days, and I guess the new owners inherited some of those issues, but they have been correctly addressed as far as we're concerned! But don't take our word for it--go see what we mean!
