(Renter) I am appalled at how horrible the customer service with this agency is. Once they get you in the door and get your money they automatically start ignoring you. If I tried to call about something, I would have to call all day just to get someone to pick up the phone. More times than not even during business hours that person would be the answering service. If I would leave them a message whether it be on the answering machine or with the answering service I would never get a return call. I only had minor problems and things I needed to discuss but I’m grateful it was never anything major because I never would have gotten anything done about it. If someone did pick up they were never friendly and never knew what you were calling about. They would ask if they could call you back but of course never did! We called to make sure they would be there on the day we were going to turn in our keys but when the day came we sat in the parking lot for an hour and a half waiting for someone. Finally we put our forwarding address on paper, put our keys in it, and put it in the drop off box. The next week we received a call asking us for our forwarding address (which they had from the note). This anger is not from not getting our deposit back because we did. This is just from lack of any customer service skills. I would not recommend this agency to ANYONE!
This is the absolute worst place to have your property managed. I have owned properties for many years. In New York City I have always been responsive to my tenants needs and concerns. I wish i could say the same for this company. I signed a contract with them to manage my property in July 2013 and i had to end it in March 2014...Due to very very very poor communication honorable advertising and very poor lack luster maintenance. Which cost me by the way in the amount of almost a thousand dollars. Does it really cost that much to call the gas company to get a refill on your tank sweep the house and provide lawn care.Almost 8 months in there care....They showed no true interests in showing the place. Almost never contacted me on any follow ups on how the place is doing or if any repairs were needed ....I had a water pipe that burst in the basement...Would you believe the alarm company called before they did...and that happen in Jan 2014 and the pipe was never fixed. For 2 and half months the house was left with a broken pipe. And could not be rented..SHAMEFUL!!!I had to hear about this from another rental company i had to hire instead... And that company manged to find me a renter within 2 weeks and for the amount of rent i asked for. The place would've been rented immediately by now. Asheville Property Management left my house neglected and in need of repair.I mean come on how hard is to rent a house with 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms a finished basement with slate flooring and hot tub.....Apparently it was down right impossible for them....So if you want to waste your time and lose close to 17.000 thousand dollars in rent ,maintenance fees and damages to your property then this is the place for you. But i wouldn't recommend it.I dont who wrote the last positive review on there behave but it must've been a relative. Cause the other reviews iv seen except for one has not been positiveIf you value your property then please i urge you not to go with them.This company is down right shameful.
